What do you like best about the product?
seamless connection with salesforce and better in tracking compare to old toll which we were using

should have mobile app too as well as it should have little better configuration options

we have improved process of release management and tracking issues ,defect

Track progress of projects with the ability to link to associated tickets, create subtasks, and include all necessary stakeholders

Delayed emails on status updates to ticket

Very promising, but unusable so far
What do you like best about the product?
I loved the idea of it - automatic tickets created via email, conveniently track the process of resolving tickets, and the best part was the customer satisfaction tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately there were consistent bugs - most importantly emails that would be consumed by Jira with no ticket or notification, causing tickets to go completely unaddressed. After several attempts to resolve via the settings, we had to revert to managing tickets via email. May try again in time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to manage how our IT team are using their time and whether users are satisfied with the service.

Good for internal product & development coordination and communication in an Agile environment.

To many notifications and the success of Jira is based on the processes that your internal teams have.

Horrible Layout, Very Cluttered and Fairly Slow, But Works
What do you like best about the product?
I like how an issue has a change log so you can see everything that has changed. I like how you can make multiple updates to an issue, such as who is assigned in one action.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are way too many fields and features. The navigation isn't super intuitive and it's not easy to find your way around. It seems fairly slow and doesn't feel that responsive. Emails could be much better.

We're solving bug and feature tracking. The benefits have been a fairly decent way to communicate features and bugs with the team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Fairly steep learning curve and cluttered interface, but it gets the job done.

Due to extreme flexibility in configuration and dozens of 3rd party extensions you can use Jira to manage almost all aspects of your start-up:
1) task management
2) project management
3) tech support
4) test management (we use Zephyr for Jira)
5) time tracking (we use Tempo extension)

The way the task inheritance is implemented.

I'm not sure about enterprises, but if you're a small business you should at least try it.
