The implicit concept of the Agile Methodology has facilitated the implementation of Agile not only in IT but in the whole organization

The Portfolio has still a lot of room to improve.

Excellent tool for manage agile software projects
What do you like best about the product?
The integration with code repositories and other tools, making possible to link written code with user stories and tasks.
Managing agile projects is very easy for Scrum and Kanban. The fields customization is a nice feature as well, with it the story can be filled with all information we need.

What do you dislike about the product?
The administration of users and roles could be more simple and mobile apps as well. It works just fine on browser, but an app would be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are developing our applications with more precision and documentation without stop been agile.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The best we ever user for managing software development projects.
Great for process, hard for collaboration.
What do you like best about the product?
Great at coordinating work at medium to large companies where there is constant input and request to change priority order and backlog. Help make sure nothing gets missed by teams and that priorities are clear on complicated projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm a Project Manager for a large, in house Design team. We do UX work, ad work, campaigns, emails, etc and are constantly working with different business partners across the company. We also work with the dev team on almost all, but not all of our projects and end up needing to pass off assets to them after desing. JIRA is great for tech work but not great for collaborating with design teams. Attaching assets is awkward and you can't easily re-order or rank them once they are uploaded. There is only one place to attach images so there is no way to differentiate between references the reporter is including and final assets a designer is passing off to a dev. Which means references have to be deleted when finals are uploaded and then there is no overall record. It can't be used for reviews or collaboration. It's only good for the process/handoff/documentation side of things. Since it is so useful for that, it makes more sense to be using this software but we lose a lot of benefits. If our design team was to switch to a design-based project collaboration software - everyone in the company would have to learn to use both softwares to talk to the design and tech teams which would be too cumbersome. I would rather just see JIRA expand what it can be used for and keep everyone in one place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving: Keep dozens of designers tasks organized so that they are quickly able to understand; what they're working on, what the priority is, and who/where to hand it off when done. Very helpful to have a track record of things requested so nothing slips through the cracks.
Jira
What do you like best about the product?
The cost. $25 a month and you get Jura for small teams
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a wild west in data structure. Company to company it's different. Within a company, this makes searching difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Agile and Scrum planning.
Bloated, complicated, and will slow down your development team
What do you like best about the product?
JIRA is known for being flexible and customizable. You can tweak and configure JIRA to fit any workflow. There are several plugins/add-ons available which may add additional functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
JIRA is an overly complicated system for managing projects. The biggest problem with JIRA will make you feel like you've collected and documented all the information, yet give you a false sense of security. JIRA will get in the way of critical communication between members of your project teams. Your project estimates will be wrong and you will miss deadlines due to lack of clarity among the team. There are so many layers between you and the tasks that need to be done that it does not facilitate communication between the team. You will need to hire someone to manage JIRA full-time because it is not accessible to the average user. If you want your team to be successful, choose a different project management tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My role was managing a software development team. I've realized that JIRA will only hinder a successful development team, not support it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are managing a software development team, you will be sorry if you choose JIRA. There are other project management tools available which will better support your team, and provide clarity in communication. Regardless of the tools you use, don't forget that in-person communication is critical. Never rely on the information in the system to inform your decisions. Only use that information to support in-person communication.
Best Agile tool which give you power to customize everything based on your desire.
What do you like best about the product?
you can edit all feature and modify in a way useful for you, also there are many useful plugin and adds on.
What do you dislike about the product?
For every single project you have to make to many scheme and its time consuming to setup proper project
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All development process, using scrum methodology.
Ticket management
What do you like best about the product?
It keeps tickets very organized and you can see the status of it. People can also be tagged and looped in as necessary.
What do you dislike about the product?
The passwords must be very complicated so it makes for difficulty logging in on other computers. I tried to log on with another computer and it automatically reset my password so I had to come up with another complicated password, which hopefully I do remember.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps us organized and I know which tickets are being processed and which haven't been worked on yet. Updates send directly to my email so I can easily see what the status of my ticket is at a quick glance. It's much more efficient that logging on to the site.
