  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Jira for project management for 5 years and find it particularly beneficial for consolidating a lot of user stories in various projects. This consolidation significantly simplifies and eases my workflow and enhances collaboration among team members. I appreciate the setup process's simplicity, which was supported by colleagues, making it fairly simple for me to get started. I find Jira's dashboards, bug tracking, and agile project management features to be incredibly useful, as they provide real-time insights into team performance and are complemented by easy-to-use charts that enhance efficiency. These features really stand out and contribute to a more streamlined and efficient project management process for me, allowing my team to work seamlessly. These positive experiences make me rate Jira a 9 out of 10 for recommendation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the complexity of Jira challenging for some new users, which could hinder their ability to adapt quickly. The lack of direct integration with essential tools like analytics platforms and CMS that I use regularly is inconvenient. Additionally, I desire more direct support to improve the overall user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira to consolidate user stories across projects, simplifying workflows and facilitating team collaboration.

What do you like best about the product?
What do you like best about Jira?
Jira offers robust issue tracking and workflow customization that scales well across teams and departments. For IT operations, the ability to create custom dashboards and filters helps us monitor ticket flow, SLAs, and recurring issues with clarity
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira’s flexibility can be overwhelming at first—especially when configuring workflows, permissions, and custom fields. Also, pricing can escalate quickly as teams grow or add premium features, which may be a concern for budget-conscious environments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps us manage IT support tickets, infrastructure tasks, and cross-team projects in a structured, transparent way

Best tool to manage projects and track work easily.

  • October 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how jira helps me and my team stay organized. It is very easy to create tasks, assign them, and track progress. Once you get used to it, implementation gets very easy and simple to keep every day tasks checked. It has lots of features which helps me stay active and keep track of my tasks. I also like how it connects with other tools like Slack, confluence and GitLab, so updates happen automatically. The dashboards and boards make it easy to see what is pending and what is completed, which really helps during team meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, Jira can feel a bit confusing because there are so many options. It takes some time to figure out where everything is and how to set up things. The UI sometimes feels a little crowded, especially when there are too many tasks. Big projects with lots of issues can slow down a bit, but overall it still works fine and gets my requirements done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps us keep all our work in one place and organized, so nothing gets missed or forgotten. We use it to plan sprints, check progress, and make sure everyone knows what they’re working on. It saves time during meetings because we can see updates live. It is also great for transparency, everyone can see who is doing what and how close we are to finishing a task or project. The integration with confluence is really useful as we can see the related docs for the task whenever needed. It is also integrated well with Gitlab which allows me to create a working branch for any ticket directly into the gitlab with one click which gets linked to that ticket. So, basically for any given task or ticket, I can refer to its documentation as well as see the work done on it including commits and pull requests. The features are amazing which keeps track of all the comments, discussions made on the task as well as the work done and by whom for the particular ticket.

Jira Software: Powerful Agile Management, but Complex and Overwhelming for Smaller Teams

  • October 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jira Software delivers powerful agile project management with customisable workflows, sprint planning, and real-time dashboards that keep teams aligned and productive. Its seamless integrations with development tools and flexible automation capabilities make it the go-to platform for teams looking to ship faster while maintaining full visibility across stakeholders. Can't imagine working without it!
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira Software can feel overwhelming with its steep learning curve and complex configuration options that often require administrator expertise to set up properly. The interface feels cluttered and slow, notifications can be excessive, and smaller teams may find themselves wrestling with unnecessary complexity when simpler tools would suffice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ira solves the critical problem of keeping cross-functional teams aligned on priorities and progress throughout the development lifecycle. As a BA/Product Manager, it benefits me by providing a single source of truth for requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that developers can reference directly, eliminating miscommunication. The transparency into sprint progress, blockers, and velocity helps me make data-driven decisions about scope and timelines, while the ability to link stories to epics and track dependencies ensures I can communicate realistic roadmaps to stakeholders. Custom fields and workflows let me capture the specific business context each feature needs, and the reporting dashboards give me instant answers when executives ask about delivery status—no more scrambling through emails or spreadsheets to understand what's actually getting built and when.
