Brings Structure and Clarity to Team Projects
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Jira is how well it balances power with usability. It’s easy to use on a daily basis, but it also offers a rich set of features that can support complex workflows and large teams. It’s straightforward to implement and customize, and it integrates smoothly with other tools, which makes it easy to fit into existing development processes. On top of that, it’s reliable enough to be used continuously, and the available documentation and support make it easier to troubleshoot or improve setups when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, Jira can seem somewhat heavy and complicated, particularly when dealing with smaller tasks or working within a small team. The abundance of fields, workflows, and configuration options can actually slow down progress if they aren't set up efficiently. When the system becomes over-configured, it may hinder the ability to complete quick and straightforward work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira solves the problem of coordination and visibility in software development. It helps teams keep track of what needs to be done, what’s in progress, and what’s blocked. This reduces confusion, prevents work from falling through the cracks, and makes it easier to plan and deliver. For me, it means I can focus more on doing the work while still having a clear view of priorities, deadlines, and dependencies.
Effortless Collaboration and Real-Time Tracking with Jira
What do you like best about the product?
Jira offers excellent cross-team collaboration. I appreciate how easy it is to create a ticket and assign it to the appropriate team. Being able to track all progress and updates in one place means I no longer have to chase anyone for information. If a customer reaches out for an update, I can quickly provide it. I also like that I can see the real-time status of what is being worked on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira does not provide customer health scores, such as usage metrics or sentiment analysis. While it allows us to monitor the progress of a ticket, it does not help us determine if there is a churn risk. For these insights, we have to rely on a separate CRM, which means Jira cannot serve as a complete solution for customer interaction.
I also find the interface complicated at times. For someone without a technical background, it can be particularly challenging to navigate in the beginning.
I also find the interface complicated at times. For someone without a technical background, it can be particularly challenging to navigate in the beginning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira offers real-time updates on tickets as soon as they are created, which means I no longer need to chase technical teams for updates when customers reach out.
This feature significantly reduces the time spent on internal follow-ups.
Additionally, Jira integrates seamlessly with various tools such as Gmail, chat platforms, and Salesforce. For example, once a deal is marked as closed-won in Salesforce, we can immediately initiate a Jira onboarding project with predefined tasks like kickoff, onboarding, and sharing admin best practices.

Exceptional Project Management Tool for Organizing Complex Workflows
What do you like best about the product?
This is one of the best project management tools available online. It provided me with a straightforward way to organize my test lifecycle, from identifying defects to deploying test reports. I find it to be a very well-organized tool, especially useful for managing large projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the beginning, I found it quite difficult to understand everything in Jira. At times, it felt like Atlassian included more features than necessary, which ended up making simple tasks more complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the main challenges with manual testing is keeping track of the entire testing lifecycle. However, by using Jira, I was able to address this issue and efficiently manage a large number of tests simultaneously.
Exceptional for Issue Tracking and Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Jira is how well it supports issue tracking and team collaboration. It’s very flexible and can be customized to match different workflows. As a QA, it makes defect tracking, sprint planning, and task follow-ups much easier and more transparent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira can feel a bit complex at the beginning, especially for new users. Some configurations and reports take time to understand, and the UI can sometimes feel heavy when multiple plugins are used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps us manage requirements, defects, and tasks in one place. It improves communication between QA, developers, and product owners, reduces dependency on emails, and gives clear visibility into project progress.
Effortlessly Tracks Progress, Seamless Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I use Jira in my work for handling tickets to assign to my team and track the progress of those tickets. It helps me keep track of the many streams of work happening across the sprint. I love the Jira board; it's the best dashboard—simple yet powerful. It helps me track project metrics efficiently. If there are multiple projects on the same board, I can group the stories by projects or by people when trying to check progress. The integration into Microsoft Teams has proven to be very helpful. Additionally, I find the Jira APIs useful for extracting data out of the system programmatically. The initial setup is always easy, and the SSO integration makes things even simpler.
What do you dislike about the product?
Improving the Jira discipline can help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira to handle ticket assignments, track progress, and manage multiple work streams across sprints. The Jira board lets me track project metrics and organize stories by project or person.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Jira for managing all aspects of product development for our clients. It helps in creating and assigning tasks to developers, tracking progress, and ensuring work timelines. Jira solves the problem of unstructured and hard-to-track work in product development because every task is clearly defined, assigned, and prioritized. I like how it brings structure and clarity to managing tasks. Features like customizable workflows, well-defined tickets, priority levels, and status tracking make it easier to ensure accountability. The customizable workflows enhance my experience by giving clarity and control over how work progresses, from backlog to development, testing, and deployment. Also, it was very easy and simple to set up.

Unmatched Flexibility and Customizable Workflows in Jira
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility which Jira provides is unmatchable. You can customize the workflow as per the team's operations rather than forcing them to follow a fix workflow. The chart feature is also good (burndown, velocity etc).

The interface is a bit bloated sometime. The learning curve for non technical team is a bit stiff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The major problem in software development is visibility and accountability and Jira solves it in proper manner. The task can be missed in excel sheet or other listing options, but in Jira we have track of all (including backlogs).
