What do you like best about the product?
I like most about Jira is that it brings clear visibility into our sprint work—I can instantly see what’s in progress, what’s to do, and what’s done. Its customizable workflows and seamless integrations let me align tickets, code commits, and team updates all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The things I dislike about Jira are the complexity and learning curve can be steep — setting up workflows, permissions, and custom fields takes time. Also, it can feel sluggish or cluttered when projects grow large or heavy customisations accumulate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira solves our visibility and workflow chaos—everything from sprint tasks to bugs is in one place, so nothing gets lost. Its customizable workflows reflect how our team actually works, making it easier to move tickets from ‘in progress’ to ‘done’. With dashboards and seamless integrations, I spend less time hunting for context and more time coding. Overall, it keeps our development cycle aligned, efficient, and transparent.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is our daily used platform for ticket solving, project management and collaboration, i am using it from many months, i really how its helps in tracking all out tasks and projects in one place. it makes team coordination very easy. i use jira daily to track my analysis tasks, bug fixes and report progress with my manager. The dashboards and board view are very helpful for visualizing the work pipeline. the filter and custom fields helps me to organize my tickets based on project or priority. i also like the integration options, we use Jira with Slack , which makes communication faster, overall it keeps everyone on same page reduces confusion in our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes, Jira feels bit heavy and slow, especially when there are too many tickets or big projects. the UI can be slightly confusing for new users because there are so many features and menus. creating automation rules also takes some time to understand properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Jira, we used to track tasks manually in Excel sheets. which was very messy and not updated properly. With Jira everything is transparent and updated in real time. i can see what tasks are pending. what is in progress and what is done. it also helps in tracking dependencies between different teams like Data engineering and product. for reporting i use Jira data to create productivity dashboards and sprints analysis reports, which helps management to understand performance, it improved our project visibility and reduced communication gaps.

What I like best is that the work is just there. Before, tasks were in emails or Slack messages, and everything was a mess. Now, you open the board, and you see exactly what you, or the whole team, are doing right now, what's next, and who's blocking you. It makes everything super clear

It's way too complicated to set up; you practically need a whole admin person just to manage the settings. And the interface is pretty ugly and just feels heavy to click around in
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The big problem it solves is getting rid of that 'Who's doing what?' panic. Before Jira, tasks were lost in Slack threads and emails. Now, every single piece of work is a ticket with an owner and a status, right on the board. The benefit is we stop having those dumb, time-wasting meetings just to figure out what's blocked

I find certain aspects of Jira quite confusing. Navigating through certain options can be cumbersome, especially when trying to find all data within the comments section at once. There's no simple control-F function to search through comments, which makes it challenging to quickly locate specific information.

This tool is excellent for team collaboration and tracking activities, making it easy for everyone to stay on the same page. It also helps manage appraisals based on completed tasks and story points, which adds a fair and transparent way to evaluate performance.

It uses a lot of RAM when several Jira tabs are open, which ends up slowing down my personal computer.

Jira offers a variety of features, such as the ability to create different types of tickets, including tasks, sub-tasks, issues, and bugs. Sprint planning is also easy to manage with Jira. We can set up automations, for example, to send an email notification when a ticket is assigned to someone. Jira is easy to understand and use, making it a valuable tool for the money. The chart and diagram flows help us track our team’s progress. Additionally, Jira regularly updates its tool to improve functionality.

Most importantly, Jira helps me track progress and improves team collaboration through the Jira Kanban board I use with my team. It also offers scrum boards if you wanna use that to support our workflow. Jira keeps our work organized and also boosts efficiency.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is a fast and stable solution to allowing clear communication between customer support and other internal departments. Thanks to its integrations, such as its use in Slack, I am easily able to see when updates have been made to tickets that I have raised or been assigned to. Due to needing to use this every day the clear communication is a great selling point.
What do you dislike about the product?
JIRA can sometimes be confising with its use of JARGON. This isnt an inherent issue with JIRA but more of how its been designed to be so flexible. Extreme flexibility while useful can mean its a master of none.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA allows us to communicate clearly between departments and shows a clear audit trail for activities that have taken place on any given ticket. This allows us to keep to our SLAs and have a clear understanding of the requirments in a given situation.
