Centralized Task Management with Great Integrations

  • December 09, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Jira is all the integrations because I can integrate it with a lot of different tools. From what I've tried, like GitHub, Confluence, and Slack, they really make the integration environment around Jira fantastic. These integrations help me set up automations related to our tasks, like automations with GitHub for development tasks, which is pretty nice. With Slack, it's nice to receive relevant notifications, and with Confluence, I can integrate tasks onto a Confluence page, which is really helpful. Also, the initial setup of Jira was pretty easy; it's easy to make a new project and tasks. Overall, Jira helps me stay organized by managing and storing tasks, keeping project boards for different projects, aligning with team members, and tracking tasks and statuses.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there's a lot of different terms, like projects and stories in storyboards and everything. And it's a bit hard to sort of navigate through all that and find what you're looking for. Sometimes. And I find the interface because I've worked with Jira at different companies, and the interface is always kinda different. So it's like, it's as if sometimes I'm working with, like, sort of a new application. So it's sometimes hard to navigate around the site for that purpose or, like, understand to go through all these different terms, like projects and stories and storyboards. So I feel like there's a lot going on, and maybe, like, a clear hierarchy of things would be helpful. Or clear navigation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira centralizes task management, preventing forgetfulness and providing visibility and updates for team alignment across projects.

Solid Project Management Tool, Minor Customization Hurdles

  • December 09, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Jira flexible and relatively easy to customize since it is a web-based tool based on the Salesforce platform. Its high availability is great as it's a SaaS application, so we don't need to host anything ourselves. I appreciate not having to worry about data loss because Jira is backed up in the cloud. Deployment into our organization was easier and quicker, which definitely helps as everything is managed by the provider. The integration with other applications such as SAP is also beneficial for automating data input. It was relatively simple to set up, and our dedicated team members and scrum masters support the Jira platform and customization, ensuring each team has the right resources and can work cohesively with others. This makes Jira a very useful tool that is easy to implement and start using.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some Jira bugs that we discover sometimes, especially with work assignment and alignment within Jira. The data transfer isn't quite seamless, and if tasks aren't closed out timely, you can't close them anymore in Jira, and vice versa.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps us with project planning, ensuring timely completion of IT projects, and managing dependencies with other teams. It allows for effective collaboration through its features and ensures project feasibility across hierarchies and departments.

Essential Tool for Streamlined Task Management and Automation

  • December 09, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This tool has been extremely helpful for managing tasks within our team and for setting up automated workflows and reminders. We rely on it to keep track of many recurring tasks, which helps us make sure everything gets completed on time each month.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you're just starting out, configuring the system can feel a bit clunky. There are important factors to consider when setting up projects for a team or an entire company, as these choices can affect your overall configuration and settings. Some adjustments made in team settings may not apply at the company level, and the reverse is also true. It's important to have a clear understanding of custom fields and how you intend to use them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated reminders for scheduled work across all our customers ensure that regular tasks are actioned on time. By centralising requests throughout the business, we are able to view and track all pending tickets for specific customers and teams. This system also helps us understand how work is distributed among team members and serves as a historical log of issues, allowing us to see what has been completed in the past.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Jira keeps everything organized and easy to track.
It’s simple to see what’s in progress, what’s blocked, and what needs attention, and the workflows make team collaboration much smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Jira can feel a bit heavy and slow. There are so many features and settings that it can get overwhelming, and simple tasks occasionally take more clicks than they should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps me keep track of tasks, priorities, and progress in one place.
It makes it easier for the whole team to stay aligned, see what’s blocked, and understand what needs to be done next. This keeps projects moving smoothly and reduces a lot of back-and-forth communication.

Intuitive, AI-Enhanced with Room for Improvement

  • December 09, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the UI and the user experience of Jira. The search system is quite efficient. I also appreciate the new AI Rovo chat feature, which is especially useful for creating new tasks at any time. It allows me to provide context from all the repositories I use, and it presents information in a very readable and understandable manner. The integrations that I can do with Jira, like with Teams, are another positive aspect. It's easy to set up with intuitive steps and useful FAQs, and the support team is very helpful, which made setting up the Jira account for our company a breeze. The software is quite easy to navigate and use, and it's particularly straightforward to implement scrum methodologies directly into the project management cycle.
What do you dislike about the product?
As for the new Rovo chat, sometimes the results given by Rovo chat are not as contextually perfect as they should be. But other than that, it's good. It's an evolving mechanism, so I guess it will perform better in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira gives me the flexibility and time to break down my product overview into small chunks, share it with the team, and let them work on it individually from the story points.

Intuitive, Customizable, But Lags on Mobile

  • December 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Jira primarily for organizing my assignments with scrum and Kanban boards every semester. It's also great for collaborating with my course mates on research projects. I find the tool easy to navigate with a straightforward user interface. The affordability and great pricing plans along with a trial offer are positives too. The user interface is simple and easy to use, with lots of customization options that perfectly cover every need. I appreciate the different views like Gantt Chart, Tables, Lists, Calendar, and Timeline. The powerful searching and filtering capabilities make finding information much easier. I also found the initial setup easy and straightforward, and I needed only minimal help from their customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app is a bit slow compared to desktop, especially when updating assignments with larger datasets as it takes time to load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira for organizing my assignments with scrum and Kanban boards, which keeps me focused and less overwhelmed. It helps prioritize tasks and ensures I never miss deadlines. Customizable views and strong filtering options make finding information easier, adapting perfectly to my needs.
