What do you like best about the product?
Jira is a project management where users can raise a request and can track the progress of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface could be improved, as it currently appears quite basic and resembles a simple application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a tracking tool for enterprises where users can raise, track and update the requests raised for projects and bugs

What do you like best about the product?
I like best about Jira is that it helps me easily track my daily tasks and project work in one place. It is used regularly by the team, so everyone knows the status of work and deadlines . Jira integrates well with other tools, which makes collaboration easier. It also offers many features for issue for tracking and management , which are very useful for projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira sometimes feels complicated and not very user-friendly. There are too many fields and options, which can be confusing, especially for simple tasks. Finding tickets or navigating between screens is not always easy, and the interface feels cluttered at times. Because of this , even small updates can takes more time than expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps in tracking work, tasks, and issues in one place. It makes it easier to know what work is assigned, what is in progress and what is completed. This helps me stay organized , follow deadlines, and communicate better with my team. It also reduces confusion and helps ensure that work is not missed.

What I like best about Jira is how well it helps in tracking tasks and progress. Everything is clearly organized into tickets, statuses, and priorities, so it’s easy to know what’s pending, in progress, or done. It keeps the team aligned and makes planning and follow-ups much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, Jira can seem somewhat heavy and overly complex, particularly when handling straightforward tasks. The abundance of fields and options may slow down the process, and the user interface occasionally appears cluttered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira solves the problem of tracking work and progress in a structured way. It helps manage tasks, bugs, and feature requests in one place. This benefits me by giving clear visibility on what needs to be done, who is working on it, and the current status, which reduces confusion and improves planning.

It is incredibly easy to over-engineer; without a strict admin, you end up with messy, bloated tickets and "Frankenstein" workflows that slow everyone down.

It solves the chaos of complex software delivery by providing granular visibility into every task's status, benefiting me with predictable sprint planning and clear accountability for every line of code.

The interface is highly complex, with an overwhelming number of configuration options that can make it difficult to navigate. Performance tends to be slow, especially when working with large boards, and the user interface often feels cluttered. The onboarding process is steep, and the rigid hierarchy structures can be limiting. There is also a lot of notification noise, which can be distracting, and bulk editing is challenging to manage. Additionally, handling dependencies is often cumbersome, and the premium add-ons are quite expensive.

The integration with Confluence and Bitbucket simplifies both documentation and development processes, and the reporting features provide clear insight into our progress and any bottlenecks. After the initial setup, Jira serves as a dependable foundation for tracking projects and ensuring accountability.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira offers a great deal of flexibility, but this often leads to increased complexity. The interface can appear crowded, and setting up workflows or permissions typically demands a certain level of technical know-how. For newcomers or smaller teams, the learning curve is quite steep. Certain features seem hidden or are not very intuitive, and performance may suffer when handling large projects with numerous issues. While Jira is undoubtedly powerful, it isn't always user-friendly right from the start.

Recently Jira updated its design, and now I can’t easily find how many tickets are assigned to me. Previously, it was easy to find.
