Feature-Rich Project Management with Seamless Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Its is the best Project Management Software I have used so far with lot of features and customization. Like for project management it has story tracking, time entries, reports on these, sprint wise segregation which helps us to follow agile practices. It can be integrated with a lot of products like github, slack, excel which we use in day to day activities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI of this app changes frequently like in every few months the whole UI is revamped which takes my effort to again find that tab. Also they have removed the my work item tab which used to show me all the tasks assigned to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seamlessly helps us in tracking our client projects. Also by giving its access to client they are also able to track the sprint progress and help in priorities and depriorties stories.
Project Management and Seamless Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Jira is its ease of use, even for complex projects. I have been using it regularly for over four years while managing Salesforce implementations, and it has become part of my daily workflow. Jira helps us capture client requirements clearly, break them down into manageable tasks, and plan work through sprints. Tracking priorities, progress, and updates in one place makes collaboration smoother and delivery more organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Jira is that it can feel overwhelming at first, especially for new users. With so many features, fields, and configuration options, the interface can sometimes look cluttered. Simple tasks may require multiple clicks, and customizing workflows or reports often needs extra setup. Also, as an end user and not a Jira administrator, it can be difficult at times to understand or configure permissions. A cleaner UI and simpler onboarding would definitely improve the experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira solves the challenge of managing complex project requirements and keeping everyone aligned. It helps us capture client requirements in one place, break them into smaller tasks, and plan work through sprints based on priority. This makes tracking progress much easier and ensures nothing gets missed. For me, it brings structure and visibility to our Salesforce projects, improves team collaboration, and helps deliver work on time with better clarity.
Centralized Project Management with a Strong Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I find Jira incredibly useful for project management, planning, and scheduling sprints, as it helps us work on bugs through team collaboration. I like that Jira acts as a centralized system for our team to collaborate and organize work, which creates a disciplined workflow. It's great how I can organize tasks, tag and assign tickets, and set different statuses. The integration with code branches and tools like GitHub and Azure DevOps is a significant advantage for tracking our work effectively. Additionally, the setup was straightforward thanks to trial versions and helpful videos online.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, I feel Jira is too big to understand its complete potential. Like moving the stories from one sprint to another, unlinking it etc.
