Jira is simple to use , easily customized and can be integrated easily easily with Confluence and JSM for enhanced collaboration

Some times we need to use plug ins and all the plug ins are not available / provided by our enterprise Jira Admin. Moreover, Jira software runs slow (this could be issue with my organization instance location)

We are using Jira for implementing a Program with multiple projects / Agile teams governed by SAFe. Moreover, there is a linked Kanban board associated to each agile team

I like that Jira connects me with colleagues and clients quickly and efficiently, and it keeps all our ongoing incident records organized. The usability is very good; I can use it seamlessly from mobile, laptop, and desktop and get updates on time. I also find Jira fast and reliable, which allows us to manage tickets in real time. The initial setup was great, and after learning how to add categories, everything else was smooth.

Unmatched Flexibility and Seamless Agile Integration

  • December 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Jira is its flexibility in handling Agile workflows. As a Product Manager, the ability to seamlessly toggle between Kanban boards, high-level Roadmaps, and the backlog makes sprint planning much easier. The integration with development tools (like Bitbucket/GitHub) is excellent, allowing us to link code commits directly to tickets so we always know the status of a feature without bothering the developers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is quite steep for non-technical team members. The interface can feel cluttered and sluggish at times, especially when loading complex boards with many custom fields. Configuring permissions and workflows is also overly complicated; you often need a dedicated Jira Admin just to make simple process changes without breaking something else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving Visibility & Alignment: Jira solves the disconnection between product strategy and engineering execution. It serves as our central hub for requirements.

Benefit: This centralization creates transparency. Stakeholders can view the Roadmap to see progress, while developers have clear acceptance criteria in the tickets. This has reduced scope creep and helped us deliver features on a more predictable schedule.

Effortless Collaboration and Seamless Integrations

  • December 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Jira is its clean and simple interface. It’s easy to use and access, even for someone new. I also like how smoothly it integrates with tools like Slack, which makes communication faster. The automation features for updates and responses save a lot of time, and it works well when coordinating tasks across different teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Jira is that it can sometimes feel a bit slow, especially when there are too many tickets or custom fields. Also, too many notifications and frequent updates can be distracting, and for small or simple tasks it can feel more complex than necessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira is solving the problem of managing complex and high-risk cases in a structured way. In my role at Revolut as a KYC FIU Subject Matter Expert, I use Jira to track and manage complex investigations that involve multiple stakeholders. It helps me document case details, decisions, and updates in one place, which is critical for audit trails and regulatory reviews. The clear visibility of ticket status and priorities allows me to handle escalations efficiently, collaborate with different teams, and ensure cases are resolved accurately and on time without losing important context.

Robust tool for managing large-scale software projects

  • December 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The standout feature for me is the detailed control it offers over workflow customization, along with the strength of JQL (Jira Query Language). As a developer, I really appreciate being able to follow a ticket from the backlog all the way to a commit in the source code, which gives me outstanding visibility into the development process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Within a large organization, the interface tends to get cluttered and sluggish due to the abundance of custom fields and intricate workflows. It can be quite frustrating when there are excessive mandatory steps required just to transition a ticket from "In Progress" to "Done," as this disrupts my coding flow and slows me down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool allows us to manage our software projects and track bugs all in one place, which addresses the issue of losing track of tasks or requirements. Personally, I find the greatest advantage is the clarity it provides—I always have a clear understanding of what I need to work on next, and my manager can easily monitor my progress without needing to interrupt me for status updates.

  • December 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the synchronisation of task into multiple bucket to get the best representation of work on what's the status. Along with that the multiple features of creation of stories, task, and sprint planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it seems to be a bit dull to use it. They can work on visualization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for sprint planning and project management, which has helped us improve and streamline our workflows.

Essential Tool for Clear Task Management and Team Insight

  • December 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This tool is extremely helpful for both software developers and management, as it provides clear insight into the current status of each task.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, there is excessive autofill when creating a task or subtasks from a story. It would be better if the system used its own autofill settings instead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira has been extremely helpful for project management, making it much easier for us to implement agile methodology. With Jira, we were able to manage our project smoothly and efficiently.

Great for Small Projects, But Struggles with Larger Ones

  • December 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I honestly feel that Jira is good and helpful for small project as I can easily collaborate with other people and I can actually get real time updates. Me and my team can share a dashboard and work together on a project at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that I absolutely hate is that when the project is small it works great and efficiently but as the project size increases the platform becomes slow and sometimes unresponsive which is very annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can easily manage and work on a project with my team very smoothly. I used the platform once or twice with my friends in college so we were working on a app and we were listing or roles/work what we have done so we were basically mapping our progress which was great but as the project started becoming a bit intense i personally felt that the software has gotten a bit slow.

Jira: Powerful Tool That Elevates Project Management

  • December 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Kanban board is excellent, particularly because the drag-and-drop functionality makes it simple to move tickets between different stages of development. I also find the releases feature very helpful for monitoring the progress of your software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, the platform feels somewhat clunky to use. There is a definite learning curve, and even after becoming familiar with it, I still occasionally struggle to locate the specific tool I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Jira to manage tickets across all our various projects. The sprints feature helps us assign a specific number of tickets to each developer during a sprint, and we also rely on Jira releases to monitor our application upgrades.
