Jira is easy for submitting service tickets for our techs. They can leave all the information along with pictures all in one place.

The only thing that I dislike and its only sometimes. It can be difficult to pull up service tickets unless you know the exact service ticket number
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One single place for all departments in our company to submit service tickets. Submit a request for parts orders.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Jira makes it easy to access and create stories, defects, and epics. It’s great that product owners can create stories, and developers can refer to those stories for development, which helps in improving the product. Additionally, it is easy to log in and set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Jira goes down and not accessible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira to check user story requirements, and it's easy to access and create stories, defects, and epics. It helps product owners create stories, which developers can use to improve the product.

Comprehensive Task Management with seamless integrations and good learning curve

  • January 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how flexible Jira is when it comes to creating tasks and stories. It provides clear visibility on how the assignee is going to work on the tasks, and shows any blocking state. If something is blocking progress, I can just provide a comment and tag the concerned team member to help with the blockage. It's also really helpful for cross-functional teams working on the same project, as I can create a story and assign it to anyone on the team. This standout feature, allowing work with cross-functional teams, really stands out for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that sometimes Jira can be very complex for new businesses because of a lot of settings and fields that need to be filled. It’s normal to get lost in the functionalities if you're not familiar with the agile environment. This complexity, along with many features, can sometimes cause performance issues. Simple is better, so this is a bit of a downside for me. The initial setup was also a bit challenging and overwhelming for the team due to new exposure with Jira.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira to organize, track, and manage our team's tasks efficiently. It helps track time spent on tasks, analyze effort complexity, and offers clear visibility on project status, making project management seamless across teams.

Powerful Management with Room for UI Improvement

  • January 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Jira allows me to see which stories or tasks are assigned to me and helps visualize the current task status. The Jira board is also helpful for managing epics, sprints, bugs, and backlogs very easily. I like that it gives product managers everything they need to describe product requirements, and they can even add documents and videos to stories.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is a bit complicated. There are multiple things that may not be required for a particular project, but they stay present on the screen, leaving it up to you whether you want to use them or not. As a basic user, I need super simple options to manage my work and visibility of tasks assigned.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In Jira, I can easily see the tasks assigned to me, visualize their status, and manage epics, sprints, bugs, and backlogs without hassle.

Highly Customizable, Boosts Team Flexibility

  • January 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Jira can work the way I need it to. The customization within fields and screens is incredible and helps my teams work the way they want to, rather than the way the product thinks they should. Having a high level of customization makes Jira valuable because it allows my team to model the way we like to work, with the information we prefer, instead of forcing us into a rigid workflow. The high-functioning teams I've seen can self-organize and tailor issue types, fields, and screens to match how they work, which dramatically reduces noise and administrative overhead. The initial setup of Jira was also very easy out of the box (OOTB).
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the flexibility making Jira powerful can also be a drawback if it isn't governed well. I ran into a point where excessive customization led to massive inconsistency between projects. Configuration complexity creeps in where changes on the Jira side from Atlassian caused issues with our customization. There could be improvements around guardrails and change visibility. Strong native tooling to enforce or recommend standards across projects could help limit unintentional divergence. Impact analysis for changes and being able to preview changes would make it easier to understand how updates might affect existing fields before they're applied.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira makes tasks visible, solving the problem of hidden items. It helps me prioritize work with its incredible customization, enabling my teams to work as they prefer, reducing noise and administrative overhead.

Powerful Ticket Management with Room for Improvement

  • January 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like linking tickets together in Jira. It's pretty good for breaking down activities into tickets, and it provides a versatile system to work with these chunks of work to a decent extent. I like the latest addition where you describe the search you want and its chat turns your description into a query.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many of the reports generate junk. The permission scheme is unnecessarily complicated. The initial setup is not the easiest and could improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira for organizing tickets for Scrum or Kanban and scheduling. It lets me break down activities into tickets, providing a versatile system to handle chunks of work effectively.

Efficient Client Interaction, Needs More AI and Mobile UI Improvements

  • January 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how fast and easy Jira is to operate. It's very easy to connect with our clients and users, and we can track and resolve issues more quickly. I appreciate that different teams can collaborate on a single issue faster than using email, and media and documents can be shared more effectively. Setting up Jira was easy, with just a little help needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think board views can be more simple and more AI integration could be done in Jira. Also, the UI for mobile can be improved so that issues can be created more easily on the mobile app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira to interact with clients via tickets and manage workflows efficiently. It helps track and resolve issues faster by categorizing feedback effectively. Teams can collaborate in real-time, sharing media and docs without email, making it fast and easy to operate.
