A product that provides 360 degree visibility of SaaS applications
What do you like best about the product?
Visibility of license usage grouped by team, availability of application spend and calendar view of contract renewals are vital features to call out. With the easy-to-use integrations, we hit the ground running in days. The data empowered IT to have meaningful conversations with business team application owners. It also enabled us to move from multiple spreadsheets to a single source of truth for SaaS applications in use. The ability to define application contacts enabled collective ownership between IT, Security, Procurement, Finance, Legal and Functional owners. Discovered app feature helps to identify all applications in use, even if they are by a select few, leading to app consolidation and better collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, we have only had one hiccup, the ability to have custom attributes for each application, which is also being addressed in the upcoming release.
The only other callout is, SaaS application management requires a reasonable amount of time, considering the number of SaaS applications in use and the constant change in the SaaS apps trialed by users.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have got immediate visibility of application license usage and engagement data for apps with engagement connectors. Via integrations and uploads, we can view spend and contract information for these apps. With details on SSO protocols detected vs. enabled, we can derive a roadmap for Okta rollout.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ensure enough time is allocated for this, considering SaaS application management requires a reasonable amount of time, considering the number of SaaS applications in use and the constant change in the SaaS apps trialed by users.
Gave actionable insights practically on day one!

The people we've worked with (Lauren, Avis, Aditya, Brock) have been wonderfully professional and attentive. Our questions get answered and responses are always timely.
Productiv is an easy-to-use tool, with a clean UI.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see more "engagement connectors" based on the apps we use. It would be great if we could utilize Productiv down the road for On-Prem software management as well!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Productiv provides data that typically takes lots of time to compile if we have visibility into it at all.
It has already proven to create helpful data charts for leadership, and the "recommendations" for license reclamations prove to be very beneficial.

Excellent insight for SaaS spending and usage
What do you like best about the product?
With a relatively low level of effort Productiv can almost instantly give you insight into your current SaaS spend.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you’re a particularly security company conscious company you’ll find that some of the application connectors mine a lot of data this isn’t really “used” by Productiv to gain insights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking SaaS spend and utilization. It also helps expose shadow IT purchases.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great solution if you have several SaaS products and question utilization across all of your provisioned licenses.
Top choice for tracking all your company's SaaS spend and managing the lifecycle of your apps
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use and the intuitive interface of the application. Everything is east to see and understand. Managing is a breeze, and all pertinent info is at your finger tips.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to use Productiv in my personal life to manage my spend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For example, we have been having a hard time maintaining a particular applications license count as we were constantly going over our allotted licenses. Once we connected that application to Productiv, we were able to easily manage and address those concerns form within Productiv. We set up an automated license claw back every month for any users that did not access the application within 90 days. Not only did we never go over our license count, but it also put us in a great position for negation when the true up came. We managed to save 30K on our annual renewal and mind you, this was only one example for the 100 apps that our managed in our Productiv environment.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend this product as it has simplified my already overworked business day. One portal to easily all the app spend and management.

A modern, intuitive, and customizable solution for tracking Software spend
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is modern and easy to use, and feels thoughtful in its design. The product has been thoroughly vetted against common usage in large companies that need access to such data, and what key stakeholders might be looking for. The development cycle is swift and open to suggestions that improve the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain teams that are rigid in their security approvals might dislike the invasive nature of the read-only user access that is required to source the usage. licensing, and engagement features, and perhaps there's an opportunity here to work closely with Okta to develop the least intrusive method that requests for certain pieces of information that it needs, as opposed to an all out read-only Admin method.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing key stakeholders data in a centralized location for contract spend, engagement, and license management. Productiv is also allowing for checking security within the organization based on how users are logging in, and how many are secured via MFA or SSO. Having all this in a central, easy to present location is important when it comes to planning for forecasts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Conduct a thorough review internally of what your pain points are, and what you're looking to achieve should you sign up for Productiv. There are many different use cases within an organization, and many different users with specific needs. It will help in determining if this is the right solution. Take a look at whether your IT team has visibility in the software that you are administering.

Great Tool for Enterprise SaaS App Management
What do you like best about the product?
Productiv is a great tool for enterprise SaaS app management. It's most helpful for shadow IT app discovery, cost control, and deprovisioning automation. It's also helpful as a master repository for SaaS app data, including metrics on tool login and usage, licenses, costs, contracts, and contacts. Bringing all this information together in one tool has enables us to make better strategic decisions with regard to our SaaS app portfolio.
What do you dislike about the product?
Today, Productiv can only be used for SaaS app management. I hope that improvements are made so we are able to use the tool for local app management in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my role, I primarily use Productiv for shadow IT app discovery, cost control, and deprovisioning automation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Taking into consideration shadow IT app discovery, cost control, and deprovisioning automation, Productiv can quickly and easily pay for itself and generate cost savings ROI for the business. But procurers and implementors of Productiv need to be ready to implement a change management plan internally to deprovision employees' unused SaaS app licenses and control costs.
