Great Sandbox ERP that's Still Smoothing Out Some Rough Edges
What do you like best about the product?
It's a great sandobx ERP for companies wanting a ton of control over processes. We've built a highly custom environment that works great for our business. This is not plug and play, but it does provide a great platform to build on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Building can be time intensive and doesn't always work in the most intuitive way. Be prepared for a decent amount of "work arounds" to get an app to work as you intended. As with other ERPs, the cost is constantly going up, which can be very frustrating wen working within a budget. Pipelines (the integration as a service feature) started out very rough when we first started using it but has greatly improved over the years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickbase acts as the one source of truth in our business. It serves as both the end point for the rest of our tech stack and the beginning point for many triggers to other apps.
Essential tool that saves time, effort, and money.
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ability to start easily, small, and gradually build on its strengths. I began with a table that contained vendor information and expanded it based on the needs I encountered. Now, I manage eight different processes within one application and oversee a total of six applications that handle my department's workload. It’s ready to add functionality and notifications at a moment's notice. Quickbase makes it easy to integrate and adapt quickly and reliably. Rolling it out is a dream and I hardly have to ask for Customer Support.
What do you dislike about the product?
When using SSO, it won't allow you to choose someone's nickname. It may be an Active Directory limitation. However, I have someone named Robert who goes by Bill. We use the product heavily and daily.

Using Quickbase for Data Collection and Review by multiple users
What do you like best about the product?
I am primarily a user of Quickbase, but we have been able to use in to streamline many of our processes. Once users are created, it is easy for me to have mulitple people use Quickbase for processing and reviewing scholarships and applications. It has significantly cut down on the amount of work going into prep, as well as the review process itself. I like the ability to creat and pull different reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need to have some skills for the programming side of Quickbase. If I did not have someone else assist with that part, I may have a different opinion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickbase has allowed multiple users to access information entered into applications or forms. It makes adding and switching out users much easier and the accessibility has been a positive.

The ability to construct powerful data management without assistance from outside soecialists

I feel like if I had just a bit more coding knowledge I could unlock vast potentials, but I just don't have anyway to get there

Getting better every day, new Form views are a huge leap
What do you like best about the product?
The versatility of reporting and functionality is great, and now that they've updated the look and feel to allow for more modern form flows, it's just as good as any other CRM out there. It can integrate with just about any tool out there via Zapier or webhooks so there's no shortage of possibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
It tends to lag when too many people are calling requests at once. There are also some options when filtering reports that would be nice to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all of our customers and products in one place is very nice. It makes data analysis a breeze.
Quickbase has been good so far we are still pretty new
What do you like best about the product?
It is pretty straight forward to work with, we are still coming up with ideas on how to make more use of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had some issues around the contract and billing that has been annoying to the point we considered dropping Quickbase completely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Replacement of old Access and Excel documents.
A good solution for basic integrations, with the ability to be extended to do heavy lifting.
What do you like best about the product?
The speed at which you can prototype out databases and get an immediate, basic solutions for operational issues is great. We find that the relationship structure makes it very easy to create virtually nested tables that can help elucidate a process and the summary tools an effective way to make sure that the relevant information is conveyed to it's siblings/parents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Without the enterprise solution, having to contact support to enable some of the realm features has been mildy annoying, and QB is not a solution for storage en-masse. Even though we are pushing our data to our own cloud solution using QB as a middleware has been counting against our storage in our account analytics due to data retention.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to create some pretty diverse logic to drive non-linear processes and interdependent processes.
