Revolutionary change for our enterprise environment
What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase has allowed us to take 7 conflicting excel sheets and transform them into a quick and lean relational database that allows any data updated to get updated immediately for everyone working on a particular project
What do you dislike about the product?
At times error codes, especially with pipelines and formulas, can be less than helpful in finding the issue and resolving it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously had multiple excel spreadsheets that were updated by different employees at different intervals, leading to conflicting information and little to no way to track history. This system allowed us to replace that with a centralized database and assigning system that has sped up our workflows tremendously
It is the best database website.
What do you like best about the product?
I can customize how I need our app to look depending on what we need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't understand coding, so it does take me a long time to figure out how to do what I need to do when it comes to adding certain features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I always get a quick response whenever I need my problems adressed from Quickbase. I can keep all of our data in one place instead of having that information everywhere. Ease of access to all of the information that I need.

Not enough user interface when creating reports
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gets or payroll info in to our accounting software elimating the time to enter from a paper timesheet. Gets production quantities in on a daily basis for upper management to review
Responsive and versatile
What do you like best about the product?
Every time I use QB to create an app I discover more of their low-code, no-code capabilites. It is very begineer friendly, and I think everyone can learn to love it. Don't let this fool you, though, it also has advanced capabilites that help with app integration and custom web creation.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the customer service team is very supportive, at times, and is there to help you through the transition process, QuickBase will release an updated product onto its platform that is not fully ready to be online. Also, it will discontinue functionalities that are built into apps, forcing the re-structuring of several published applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It constantly reviews and debugs new and old functionalities, attempting to be the best product it can be. The new forms are going to be great.

What do you like best about the product?
This is a really good platform for all kinds of workflows and business. This can get very complex situations and messy spreadsheets into an automated workflow with dashboards and different permissions across a whole company.

It is not the best for medium/small business since it is a little expensive.
As a developer, I liked a lot Javascript inside the formula fields, which is no longer supported.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting data in the best shape possible to have accurate information and automate processes.
It is the most versatile and dependable software I have used in business practices.

The versatily and infinite customization.

pricing for packages and training can be a bit steep but stilll well worth it.

What do you like best about the product?
It's really robust, but the dashboard can make it very clean and simple for the average user. Huge amount of resources to help learn how to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain lookup type functionalities are not as easy to accomplish as I feel like the system should be able to do. A new field has to be made and connected to a different field. There should be an easier way to accomplish a lookup-type function.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we solved using Quickbase was to track our employee separations across multiple locations and departments. Each location reports a little differently, and each department tracks certain information differently. A lot of the time, information gets lost and tracking is missed. It was very frustrating. Our Quickbase app put everything in the same place and everyone can get the info they need.
Quickbase: A solid datasource
What do you like best about the product?
Building out databases in a much more stable environement than an excel or smartsheet. I pull from QB via Power BI dataflows and datasets, making that integrated data much more accessible and visible. I use the data from QB every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like all automated things, it takes up-front investment. Having a helpful community with lots of resources helps for sure. I get most of my customer support from YouTube, haha.

Recording Risks and Opportunities, holding project header info

Enables me to track my Projects efficiently and create the required reports.

the main things that i run into issues with is when I'm trying to create formulas that are a bit more complex.

Tracking a large scale project with many moving parts. It's been able to help me stay organized.

Minimum number of users need to be less than 20 to remove the barrier for smaller businesses.
Quickbase Mobile app forms needs to be improved and more features need to be added (Signature field, standard multi-file upload that doesn't require a plug-in and the ability to edit/ mark an image)
Storage needs to be increased as user count increases
New Forms need some work to make it more flexible for different screen sizes - needs to align to the middle of the screen rather than the left

The organisation has a large number of disconnected applications that result in a lot of manual work to gather and visualise data. Quickbase is slowly allowing the organisation to bring the data together on a single platform that allows a structured, simple way to access the data real-time. Quickbase is helping the organisation to highlight issues much easier
