Customize For All Situations

  • March 06, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We use QuickBase for many different applications. We've been able to customize to a variety of scenarios and use the same system. This helps with continuity and I can bounce back and forth among various apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a brief lag in between clicks. This is a minor irritation, and not much of a dislike. This is a great product. I would love to see some more user friendly reporting that can export to excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We is it as a directory database for sales rep and account info. We also use it as a database for error reporting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you are patient to handle some trial and error. But once the usable version is finalized, the maintenance is a dream!

Quick Base - Great for Businesses

  • February 25, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Quick Base makes it easy to maintain data in one place and it also makes it easy to export all this data. Great for cross functional work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the platform is not the easiest to use due to technological issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On-boarding new clients has become much easier through Quick Base because we can all view the status of the new client cross-functionally. We can also maintain status updates all in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely make sure all necessary teams have access to Quick Base internally because it will be so much easier for all teams to communicate cross functionally.

Great no-code/low-code platform

  • February 21, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is very simple and fast to get started with creating an application for your business needs. A person without any programming language can quickly learn enough to create their first application and learn more along the way to make it better every single day.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you want to extend the provided functionalities, you will need to inject your own code. The code you inject won't be running on the back-end, because even the admins won't have access to the real back-end so you end up have to use the front-end code, most likely by injecting Javascript.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can quickly have an application up and running, and be able to make real time changes. It can be used as proof of concept and/or mature it into a production application. It is also easy to make changes on the fly, there can be no delay from development to production.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try to build a simple yet fully functional application in Quick Base platform. You will be shocked at how little time it takes!

Above average application software

  • February 14, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
They have a great customer support service. I'm able to submit questions to a representative or I can post them in a discussion board. There's also an easy feature where I can search through their guides and instructions of different elements of making an app.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's organized in a semi-confusing way. There's buttons that might or might not lead to where you want to go. There's a customize this page button and an page settings button that are very similar. Quickbase also uses their own vocabulary like fields, pages, forms etc. The API can be hard to use if you need to do something as simple as adding an image to the main page of an app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're digitizing many of our systems and reducing the paper trails. It's beneficial for people to use with no prior training.

Intuitive and Powerful Product!

  • February 12, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The UI! It's a really interesting approach and allows you break apart complex webhooks and deploy some if/else logic impressively quickly!

You can see the entire workflow you create really clearly at a high level instead of needing to click into individual steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't run into anything I dislike so far! I haven't done a huge amount of testing at a large scale but it's been really useful for spinning up proof of concepts really quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Non-native integration between SaaS products. Custom solutions for moving data.

Being able to share screenshots of proposed workflows has been a huge benefit for quickly and clearly presenting workflow solutions

Database/scheduling
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do your research before purchasing

Great flexibility, surprisingly simple.

  • February 08, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
If it has an API, or you CAN you can make it work with cloudpipes.
Even with it's great flexibility, it still manages to remain straightforward and if you can't make it work the support team will gladly help you create what you're looking for in an optimized way if possible
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is a bit on the expensive side, but their support warrants that I guess.
Sadly, this does mean I can't recommend it for small businesses as it would end up costing them quite a bit more
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gathering a specific overview with only the info we need, and all the info we need without clicking around per item

Pivotaltracker integration

  • February 07, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The pipes building user interface is very intuitive and self-explanatory. The help received from support was brilliant.
What do you dislike about the product?
The debugging errors could be more explanatory. The pricing and plans could be more transparent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The cloudpipes system helped us to mitigate redundant manual ticket creation by helping automatically create tickets in phabricator based on stories in pivotaltracker. This integration saves time and increases consistency between the two systems.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It can be quite expensive for small use cases.

Cloudpipes is a great service

  • February 06, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Allows our non technical users to build workflows between our systems. For example we sync GitHub and Trello.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not too many downsides, some of the polling triggers are a little slow but that's dependent on the service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for our development pipeline. It allows us to use best of breed tools for each area.
