Clunky and unintuitive project management

  • November 18, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Flexible and customizable. With some work and development, you can make Quickbase handle complex workflows and track difficult projects. You can set the fields you want and make Quickbase do what you need it to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very intuitive to use. Probably good for some applications like software development but not very easy to use for creative project management. It's also hard to make individual templates, it's sort of one size fits all and that doesn't always work for our workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Quickbase to track our marketing work and field requests from internal shareholders. It worked better than just accepting requests via email but not much better. It wasn't always easy to customize the request form.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you know what you're planning to use it for. It's not a perfect solution for all users and all use cases. Other departments use it well, with multiple users part of the workflow, but it wasn't suitable for us.

Cloudpipelines - fantastic for my business application integrations & managing my automated workflow

  • November 15, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Cloudpipes is superb when it comes to creating, connecting, and continuously improving my business applications with the aid of its diverse services. It allows my organization's workflow to process automatically and enhances its embedding & sharing of data connectors between various applications and platforms. Further, it improves connectivity and strengthens functionalities through its easy-to-deploy templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has nothing, in particular to be mentioned as a point to dislike. It supports a wide range of in-built data connectors that provide a rich set of integrations using simple drag and drop festures.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloudpipelines is a fabulous platform for cloud services that help to connect my organization's API-based application systems. It eliminates the need to write and manage lengthy codes with its code snippets, promoting code-reusability, resource scalability, and automating workflows. It offers a splendid dashboard that effectively helps in providing data visualization and other essential insights regarding successful API integrations.

Ease to use Quickbase

  • November 15, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase is helping us in many ways, like managing workflow or creating a small business-related application where we can use from mobile and also from the laptop. Quickbase also gives the facility to integrate with the third-party application through API or Pipeline facility. Quickbase is a no-code or low-code application, so we don't need any coding here
What do you dislike about the product?
In QuickBase, we cannot change the theme or background of the application, so we only have to use the system-provided theme and don't get the facility of customization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved lots of problems/difficulties in our organization and also for clients, like managing the workflow of the client so the client can easily monitor their work smoothly. We have also increased the productivity in our company with the help of Quickbase. With the use of Quickbase, we have replaced the MS-Excel and transferred all the activity of the client on QuickBase

Easy to use and great support.

  • July 13, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, and if you have any issues, support is quick and responsive to resolve them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of customability. It would be nice if you could customize certain parts of the program in regards to fonts, colors, layout, etc...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking customer service records, and creating a customized CRM for a sister business.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use support. Support is not immediate so plan accordingly. Support is knowledgable but can only dedicate normally an hour to help you over the phone. Don't expect them to build everything from scratch within a day and walk you through it.

Quickbase for business solutions

  • June 17, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability for the systems to integrate with each other. That you can you multiple applications that communicate and sync well.
What do you dislike about the product?
For visually aesthetic purposes, the user interface could use some more modernatization. It is an advanced system but it appears to be outdated visually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is definitely some lagging in report generations and sometimes going from user to user Quickbase can create an error and cause you to start over. The benefits truly are the integration and ability to create systems.

Powerful app dev platform for database driven apps

  • November 20, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase is built for relational database-driven apps. For those of you old enough to remember the 1980's and the way dBase revolutionized the PC application development space -- this is kinda the web and mobile equivalent without the need to write code.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. You need to have a significant number of paid monthly subscribers for it to be cost-effective. $25/mo. x 20 users for $500/mo is the entry point.
2. They can do more feature-rich stuff with the data elements. Not sure why a radio button option is not included since it seems pretty common.
3. The apps are data table centric. Which is ok, but I would prefer a 'home' page for the app that was more of an app interface than a series of data table-driven menus. It should have functional 'actions' in addition to all the data-related features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developing an application for customers as a SaaS model. Building an MVP first, so we haven't launched yet.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is no one-way to leverage Quickbase so it depends on your goals.
