Quickbase does it all !
What do you like best about the product?
I like the out-of-the-box functionality that QuickBase provides to build databases of information that can be easily interconnected. Quickbase also allows for lists and forms to be flexibly customizable to fit just about any business need. Additionally, the user interface is very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Quickbase competes with other platforms like Microsoft SharePoint. One thing that SharePoint does that Quickbase does not, is the ability to link a spreadsheet to the online list. I wish Quickbase data could be linked to Excel in the same way SharePoint does so that fresh information could be pulled into your spreadsheets with the click of a button.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love some of the more advanced functionality that Quickbase provides to customize pages to allow Geocoding and integration of APIs to build specified solutions for acute business needs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need to manage information and codify processes with workflows and automation, take a good hard look at Quickbase!
Quickbase is making the path
What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase has forums and university courses that not only bring you into the Quickbase world, get you up to speed, but also provide ways to learn about the feature updates they constantly push out. The support team is responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am having trouble finding good ways to solve what our database is turned into at this point. What do you do save deleting and starting again when your data has become more than you want to manage or if you haven't documented, is that a diagnostic scenario
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It can be very powerful at doing a lot of redundant tasks, but you must learn a lot to be successful at your job and not become stressed out. I honestly must be cut out for this field because I don't know how anyone else could enjoy this.
Product track
What do you like best about the product?
Excel like functions and reporting, search and filter capabilities, notifications
What do you dislike about the product?
No chsrting or conditional formatting, email notifications can be compressed for large file sizes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Paying a lot of money for a platform like Salesforce/Accelerate
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure all of your systems can sync up with quick base and everyone in the company is using it (daily typically)
Such an adaptable application to fit your companies needs, Super Super helpful!
What do you like best about the product?
I have loved just how easy it is to change things around to fit my team's needs. It has drastically improved our work. I love it's simple format, it makes it easy for everyone to understand how everything works. We've been able to really streamline our work giving us a "live" experience that we truly value in our fast-paced work environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would change is to make it a bit more modern with displays such as colors, fonts, etc. Aside from that, we have worked with a company who knows QuickBase really well and has been able to help us make QuickBase fit our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to track individual clients' paperwork, our income, and all other aspects of a business. It helps us to keep everything in one "app." Again, it has drastically improved efficiency in our office. This has helped us to keep a better "full picture" of our work to see where we need to focus additional attention and where we are excelling. We highly value our clients and we want them to have the smoothest transition while in our program. QuickBase has helped us to offer this to our clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it! Before QuickBase, we used multiple documents and spreadsheets to log things, but that has helped us "streamline" and truly make our work easier. I will continue to use QuickBase for all business. If you are looking for an all in one business "manager", this is it. We're even able to link information throughout spreadsheets, truly offering a "live" experience which is super helpful in a fast-paced work environment.
Love Quickbase!!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Quickbase lets you customize so many things when building an app. It is like a web version of Access. It's great for data gathering/input as well as automatically connecting data to an application like Alteryx for further blending/cleanup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things are a bit complicated, such as the inability to search in rules and automations. Also, some things are limited, such as the number of choices in a multi-choice dropdown.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickbase makes data entry easy. It's great for making sure data is input consistently, which helps analysis further down the road.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you map out your app first, such as the tables and fields needed. Then, map out the relationships between the tables. This will make sure you build the app according to your specifications and that it has a solid foundation.
Quickbase is an excellent product for everyone!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to make something work for any scenario we might need. I also like the available help material, as well as how responsive Quickbase employees are to community posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's really only one thing - I wish the HTML tags allowed included all HTML tags.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Quickbase for Helpdesk ticketing, fleet management, knowledge bases, inventory tracking, employee data management, and so much more! Quickbase allows us to build what we need quickly and display real-time reports.
Project Pipeline & Task Managements are quick and easy with Quickbase
What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase is a powerful no-code development platform that we use for scaling up our enterprise projects and tasks. We implement our business strategies, roadmaps, and deadlines in a cohesive platform that is offered by Quickbase. It provides us with a compatible environment where we can build our application standards with its customizable templates effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything about Quickbase as it is most suitable for my project commitments. Since it's easy to visualize and organize my scheduled activities, I like to use it often to get the implementations done fast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickbase effectively creates pipelines that can incorporate relationships between different projects having similar structures. For example, in one of our deployment projects, we had to merge our schema into our codebase for the production environment. The exact design of activities was replicated effectively with Quickbase thanks to its template build functionalities which saved a lot of my time and maintained its configuration integrity and version governance of the project.
Quickbase is the flexible platform businesses need
What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase is easy to use and can be updated at the speed of your business. It is flexible to align with how you do business instead of the platform dictating the data you need. Plus the ability to create custom apps for each department and connect them, so data can be shared where it needs to be visible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using the new form layout. I like the idea of having that flexibility to create a more visually pleasing form, however, the standard look of the old form across all apps made it easier for users to be comfortable entering data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing and tracking marketing activities in an app. Utliizing the flexibility of app creation, we are able to track all tasks, expenses, partner funding, swag inventory, and more. We are able to share tasks and push notifications when one person hands the task off to someone else to complete their part. It has been instrumental in keeping the team productive and inline to hit deadlines. When in doubt, the team can look at the activity in Quickbase to see the latest updates, where someone is on a task, instead of having to exchange multiple emails for updates.
QB-Best application for task organization
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to add columns temporarily while printing/saving various QB reports. Also, I like the ability to edit tasks ina grid b=view all at once without inidividually going into each and every task details.
What do you dislike about the product?
I get my tasks under different tabs. When I want to see them together, consolidated in one place, I am not able to. I have to go into various tabs/squares to look at my tasks all over the place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task distribution is easy and quick. Even multi-step tasks are taken up easily. Also, sometimes, we have to save reports to transfer data from QB to another application. With QB reports, it's easy and simple, and time-saving.
A lot of power if you’re willing to put in some time
What do you like best about the product?
Quick base makes it easy to create relational database tables. The UI is very straight forward. Custom reports based on table data are just a few clicks and it's dead simple to share the reports with other team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of the more advanced settings and report options are tucked away several menus deep. While it is easy to create reports, sometimes you have to fiddle with the options for a while to get the results you really want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Quickbase as a customer information tool. Our firm manages around 200 websites spread across around 175 customers. Keeping track of current and past customer domain information, analytics logins, and CMS credentials was all done through Quickbase.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely consider Quickbase if you need a quick and easy no-code way to create relational databases.
