Quickbase helps us manage all our projects with ease.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that we can customize it to our needs, and it can do most anything that we can think of.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Quickbase University was more implemented, SORM-compliant, and you could manage training for your organization through it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for all things IT, project management, time/resource management, schedule management, CRM, and invoicing.
Great Versatile Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase is a fully customizable and easy-to-code platform that allows to simplify tools and processes. It allows to create personalized and interconnected applications and get rid of complicated and slow spreadsheets. Quickbase can be used as a common platform to share and process data across different teams and it allows to set specific custom data visualization and editing rules based on user roles. In addition, it enables data sharing with external platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data visualization options (graphs) are limited and only allow for very limited personalization.

Quickbase has been used to simplify and improve a variety of processes:

What do you like best about the product?
Cloud database - in cloud, so we don't need to load local software. Updated regularly. Easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
More designed for screen reporting, than printing.

Tracking production process & keeping things on-time. Able to zero in on waste problems.

Restricted JavaScript coding. But it is OK

Project being executed on time
Time line and emailed reports helped a lot in getting things done

User friendly with no coding required
What do you like best about the product?
I find QB easy to use, can build customized reports with a few clicks, and it's really helped track several business processes, documents, testing progress, etc in my context.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not a huge fan of the new style and often toggle to the classic style with the report filters/etc. on the left. Just a personal preference thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickbase allows for seeing timestamp history, who edited things, who completed tasks, and updating statuses in a way that would be much more painful via Excel...all while allowing for notifications, reminder emails, etc. to be built in conjunction with those activities.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the look of Quickbase and the ability to adjust fields easily. You don't have to know coding to change field functions once it's been set up. I like how it's easy to see where every job is in the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it doesn't integrate into CRM databases and that it's very expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to see at a glance what stage is filling up with projects so I know how to delegate or prepare to handle the influx of stage changes. We also need to track the profit margin for each stage of the job and quickbase allows us to do that.

What do you like best about the product?
ease of use, and the simpleness of the platform. Ease to deploy and setup new databases, and ease of integration with other programs. It really is a simple solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Web based integration is buggy. You cant select date sort without errors, and when uploading excel files through the web based platform you end up with random trailing 00000000000001 s on your numbers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Insurance database for remote workers. Works way better than a local server-based database. I use quickbase every day , and enjoy the product.
