What do you like best about the product?
It offers various dashboard to monitor the critical activities in the enterprise application and sends alerts to initimate the issue to the team. While taking actions in the background setup by the users.
What do you dislike about the product?
The application monitoring dashboard is easy to use however switching to test and production environment could be made little easier. There are several alert mechanisms present which can be customised based on usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
zOS Lpar monitoring, production batch activities, load balancing monitoring are the major uses of Instana. Especially the one second to detect issues and 3 second alert intimation setup is useful.

It is used to analyse api errors and details of app crashes. We can find exceptions and errors easily. Helps in monitoring production system.
