Instana offers competent monitoring of every application or the service a company has an accurate conclusion made.
Further, Instana allows the deployment of an AI, which ensures problems in a system are immediately recorded.

Instana knows regarding programs overseeing and service management. Furthermore, Instana ensures website traffic is recognized and administration is done in case some optimization is due.

Instana is a practical application with extensive system monitoring and system validation. More so, Instana traces all the actions that employees conduct in a system. Further, every browser is fully tracked by Instana from devices or gadgets available. The purpose of tracing is to learn the trend of customers and other interested parties in matters production and performance.

Instana is an influential application that guarantees content security and ensures the management and the organization of every detail that deals with operations.
Further, Instana offers extensive scanning for the security of every content, and intruders are immediately blocked from any access.

Instana has managed to eliminate all the barriers that affect performance monitoring. Besides, Instana has worked on safety guidelines and strategies for solid communications.

Instana is the solution that supports all forms of monitoring, from the performance, the operations, and the employees efficiency. More so, Instana has outlined the security strategies that ensure the authenticity of every element is attained and no editing or interfering with any point. Finally, Instana has a massive space for companies with significant and complex data.

What do you like best about the product?
One of the best things that I love about Instana is its usability and interface about events, monitoring status, details of API logs, their flow and debugging traces for any failure, and a lot of stuff. For any application, you can see the dependencies (of DBs, other microservices, processes..etc.), overall infrastructure, all other connected services, alerts, support for Kubernetes, AWS, and other platforms, configurations, and overall calls for that particular application. Due to its ease of usage containing all these features, I would highly recommend establishing this tool in an organization for managing their relevant features from the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall from a usability, accessibility, and features point of view, I didn't come across any cons as such to the date. Some of the feature request we would be requesting to add in upcoming years; let's see how that goes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have our entire infrastructure, including running websites, apps, Kubernetes clusters, databases status, applications logs, and failure traces integrated with Instana. On a daily basis, we use it to monitor all the apps of a cross-functional team with their relevant services and apps. Thanks to this platform, monitoring and managing all these services have become hassle-free.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are tools out there in the market. And after using this tool for a while now, I'd highly recommend using INSTANA for all your monitoring and managing infra, Kubernetes cluster, applications, and other services across the organization.

With Instana's fully automated application observability, you can make sense of your chaotic cloud-native settings, providing the context you need to take intelligent actions and ensure optimum application performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not good as Datadog because Datadog is the most popular cloud monitoring service. IT, operations, and development teams utilize it to construct and execute applications on dynamic or hybrid cloud infrastructure. With Datadog, you can start monitoring in seconds.

Remove the burden of manual observability and application monitoring off your Dev+Ops teams.

Nothing as such , new to the platform .Until now everything is going good

Good Product and a great team behind it
What do you like best about the product?
Instana supports a large number of technologies with their sensors and continue to expand them over time. Their strength is in setups that aren't completely cloud-native, or where components below container level are managed. The team that supports enterprise customers is extraordinary and does a great job in communicating and being available for questions and feature requests. They provide a Slack channel and from time to time also product management or SREs are pulled in on dedicated topics. Also the pricing model is by far the best I have seen and much more predictable than the one from competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
As for every small company (not any more thanks to IBM), feature requests are processed very slow. If you go full in on Instana, you need to buy a certain quantity to be recognized with new features. I waited for some features for more than a year and considered it basic technology support (e.g. Java AWS SDK V2, DynamoDB).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instana covers all operation monitoring aspects on application and container layer, does alert on unexpected usage and most important resolve bugs, we would not be able to spot. Just to give an example. The website sensor runs in the customer browser and we can detect frequently occurring JavaScript errors for specific browsers and resolve them. To some extend thanks to user tracking we can also provide customer support capabilities with the SaaS service.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check your application stack against the supported technologies and do a small PoC. Instana is always open for something like that. If a technology is not available reach out. We did and they developed the support for us, so everything is possible.

1. Navigation sometimes feels irritating.
2. If I don't have any access it is not straightforward to understand.
3. Sometimes I have seen data corruption or filter not working properly when I am trying to pinpoint or investigate some issues.
