What do you like best about the product?
Instana has been a long time partner of ours. While we have shopped and done some exploratory work of alternatives nothing has ever fit the bill like Instana. We enjoy the platform and the data we have visibility into.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular comes to mind at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instana provides our company greater visibility into one of our product offerings allowing us to quickly respond to events and raise possible issues to clients in a prompt manner.

What do you like best about the product?
Saves time and reduces the amount of manual work required. It is effective at real-time monitoring and the tool is able to identify and recognise problems that are occurring at any given time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes instances that are listed in the product can be quite confusing and so may feel overwhelming when you initially start. However with continued use and practice, then over time as a SME user, it will be easy to navigate and understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the business we required system monitoring. IBM solves this problem by allowing the ability to view system monitoring via several panels which allows report generation and therefore the analysis involved in order to make operational decisions.

It helps companies identify the issues/problems on the servers, like the resource bottleneck, throughput issues, performance issues and any issues in running applications (In our case JVM).
