I have been working with Seon for 3 months at Gambling industry
What do you like best about the product?
Detailed IP geolocation checks, screening of personal data for fraudulent indicators, check for social media profiles (very helpful in CDD process), rules management system is quite easy to use without specific knowledge (this means friendly environment). Great tool for manual search on lot of parameters like card BIN, card details etc, not so many providers have such solution
What do you dislike about the product?
Unclear Rule for "Domain is free provider", in time where most people are using gmail accounts it is too many false positives and too many alerts on such rule which makes employee work more time wasting
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot of fraudulent users could be found, specially whose who use the same data in their personal profiles, this specially helps if there is fraud attack from one related group which could be catched fast using SEON solution

easy to adjust to the specific needs and add new features, user-friendly interface

Haven't found any issues yet. Transaction monitoring alerts sometimes could work better.

The best market solution so far, I had experience with multitasking features

What do you like best about the product?
You can customize it for you however you want. There is a wide range of tools you can make specially for yourself and use them in rules which are useful for specific type of business
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunatley even with this programm is quite difficult to create a unversal stopper of frauders and confirmator of normal clients, so sometimes you have to pay attention to non-frauders
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First of all by this program you can stop the whole bands of frauders, which are much mire harmful, then single frauders. Such bands launder money very quick and in huge amount
My experience so far is positive. have not used fully but all functions work.

IP checking for VPN and checking if database is used.

nothing, all is good and smooth. No bad experience so far.

Mostly fighting fraud due to compliance reasons. We have benefited saving customers funds.

THE DASHBOARD IS SUPER USEFUL AND DYNAMIC, I LIKE TO EDIT RULES IN IT.

I would like them to contain more effective test environments.

A very useful source of data
What do you like best about the product?
The various data sources that SEON collects identify whether a person actively uses a phone number or not. This information is highly beneficial for automatic decision-making.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sandbox environment SEON currently offers only separates the configurations and statistics. If possible, we would like to have a true sandbox for testing purposes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a financial company that offers a fully online onboarding process. SEON's data helps identify whether a number the customer used for registration is a frequently used number or not, and thanks to this source of information, we can minimize our risk via an automatic process.
Practical and complete tool
What do you like best about the product?
The usability to be able to put into practice the services offered, the complete information it provides
What do you dislike about the product?
I would look for a more efficient way to be able to group the complete information in the transaction module when we make filters, for example when we get to the final screen I understand that the information could be compacted in some cases and be more visually pleasing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to score risk on certain transactions with risky characteristics that we identify from our controls and from Seon input.
I like the ease of use of Seon and the quick response when we ask for help

The dash is very simple, and the people at seon are very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Machine learning does not suggest good rules, it lacks logic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it mainly for credit card payments, but we expect to be able to use it for all of our users' transactions.

It would be great to be able to analyze the data in the seon dash, not only create rules but also identify fraud patterns, analyze data and from that create rules

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best from seon is the flexibility I have as a client to create new rules and define parameters. Also, the team is very open to receiving new suggestions for new features we would like to add in any needed case. I like the different kind of variables available for custom rules, they are very helpfull.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing it could improve is the creation of new Machine Learning Rules but only applied for Chargeback Label, as if we measure the efficiency by looking only to the Status DECLINE we would be missing or biasing our rule.
What could also change is that it is not always available the option to Test the rules in the existing data, that would help us a lot to understand the impact of turning on any rule

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seon has brought me the capability of implementing new rules and measuring new variables in the transactions we are processing. In that case it is very helpfull to understand patterns in our transactions

It is a very powerfull tool. Take your time to learn from it and you will be able to do some really good job

I like that it is a convenient place to get general information on emails and IP addresses.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the IP address information was more useful and I am not sure that it can correctly identify all VPNs

It helps me to determine whether an account is for a real person or just some bot activity.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I prefer just using the web browser; the app does not seem to work well for me when reviewing more than one account.
