amazing product lifecycle
What do you like best about the product?
the interface us great and the UI is also easy to use

its buttons are overwhelming and can scare some users away

keeping all related engineering info in one locarion, no more searching in different drives and its a system that can be used globally
Excellent PLM system for customizable business solution
What do you like best about the product?
Teamcenter provides a wide variety of tools OOTB that can address many business needs and implement change management processes. I love that Teamcenter is highly customizable so that we, as the business solutions team and TeamCenter administrators, can tailor the software to meet our user community needs and business vision.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was more free resources for training, like tool tips OOTB.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamcenter is providing engineering data centralization, digital thread, and a system for enforcing change management which did not exist before.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to track changes, control access to data based on certain attributes and level of affiliation users have to CAT. Pretty flexible security model for what we do within the environment
What do you dislike about the product?
Efficiency of making changes, not easy to make changes to the organization due to POM references. Can be slow at times with large structures or loading a large organization. Searching large amount of data can be time consuming.

I love that it allows work and collaboration from across the world, while keeping designs secure.

There can be a learning curve that can be hard to address at times

Teamcenter gives us revision histories, dates, and a plethora of information about the data in teamcenter, allowing us to have the most accurate information possible in a single source of truth

Data management and traceability
The most complete PLM tool I've ever used
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way you can customize it and I like the way it can be integrated with other programs outside from SIEMENS.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say that I don't like the support. Sometimes when we have a bug, the communication with Support Center takes a lot of time. Also, for some builders like MRL tool builder requires a NX installation in the server which is not the best way to do it. You should enable more paths for us to use dispatcher for this type of cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data Visualization. Since you can convert your CAD data to JT, it allows us to see the data without having to launch the CAD system we have installed. Also, the BOM data and structure that Teamcenter manages allows us to have more clean data that the one we had before.

It is very intuitive, and we have all connected trough one system

Mainly the Product management solution and adoptability into the required business use cases. Large community base with good support and new innovative feature implementation and easy integration with many cad systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
thin client/ over the web is not that user friendly and not much of documentation about customization. Performance for loading huge assemblies can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basically capturing the product development aspect is covered with Teamcenter, right from Ideation,evolution phase and then concept design and realization of change to product.
Especially with Digital twin, helping to realize the solution in advance, workflows made business process run efficiently.

Teamcenter is a great PLM tool for any size company.
What do you like best about the product?
Very scalable and works with a variety of systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Complexity with our current version is difficult to manage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamcenter is solving our issues with managing all of our parts/items in 1 location. Version management is also something that Teamcenter is helping us with.
