What do you like best about the product?
the flexibility of teamcenter to make it exactly what our users need is really one if its strongest features. there are many features that we use daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
With all that flexibility comes a lot of challanges maintaining our specific instance of the software. information can be challenging to receive because everyone's deployment can be so different.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamcenter houses our teams engineering and design data giving us a secure platform for our global team to work from,

What do you like best about the product?
Seems logically laid out for the user. Very easy to go between Teamcenter engineering, structure manager, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customizing the software (BMIDE) is difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us stay Organized and have control over any changes. Easy to control access by Role or group.

Need for better general (or just need to know where it is) training information to share with new users.

Collaboration and document management. We are also using it for Change Management.

File Control and BOM analisys are key to getting things released

We use it because it is necessary to track changes between design revisions but I think it is ugly

There are a lot of workflows that take you to another screen to finish the workflow. There is also in my opinion a limitation on the reporting aspect of the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The integration of our eBOM system into Teamcenter from Enovia allowed us to consolidate a system and make it easier for the user to navigate from the dbom to the ebom

Lack of detailed documentation in some areas (API, BMIDE,..)
