Ease of use. I’m not on the platform as often as teammates but it’s easy to figure out how to operate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cutting the noise is sometimes difficult.

Meltwater makes “scrubbing” the web during crisis comms efficient and easy.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use and adapt search criteria. Brings consistently solid results in a good overview and format. Customer support is always very reactive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes delivers questionable results due to filter limitations.

Meltwater allows us to track our media coverage with little to no effort and gives us a solid overview of where we stand in local and international media.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part of Meltwater is also one of the more unexpected ones, the reports, dashboards, built in AI support - all make using the platform really enjoyable.

No dislikes, but opportunities for product development when listening to markets outside of the US.

Dashboards and platform creation, topic & issue monitoring

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater has the very best customer service in the industry. I have been working with them for 8+ years, brought the software into a new agency when I moved companies and can't imagine doing my job without it. Our dedicated rep always gets ack to us within minutes or hours at the latest, goes out of their way to manually support on dashboard builds and fixes, teaches us new features when there have been roll outs and listens and implements product improvement suggestions. Pricing is competitive and fair, and over the years hasn't increased a whole lot, which is appreciated and keeps us as customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with all software, its not perfect. Sometimes the database does not have the people I'm looking for, doesn't have their emails, or the emails are wong. The email sending feature doesn't work for our needs as when you load in a list you can't customize each one as you send individually and all PR people know personalization is key. The search function could benefit for better features like allowing AND for beats instead of Or, which would help niche down lists faster within the platform, rather than doing this in excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater helps find the right journalista dn build targeted outreach lists. Explore and Dashboards helps monitor brands media/social and those insights are used in weekely/monthly/quarterly/annual reports as well as insights for new business pitches and kick off audits.

What do you like best about the product?
Posting to various sites instantly is helpful and that you can make some "localizations" for each media in the posting tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very flexible, integration lacks features, too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time saving for our communicators and marketing.
