Fantastic Platform and Wonderful Account Manager
What do you like best about the product?
The social media monitoring and scheduling features are tremendously useful for our team! We also send out all of our press releases through Meltwater and have been very pleased with the media lists and customization of our email templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about Meltwater.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater's social media listening tool has ensured that we no longer miss important conversations happening on social media.

we can't capture data behind paywalls which can create inaccuracies in our reporting

Meltwater has truly transformed the way I work as a marketing manager, offering a comprehensive platform that caters to all my needs. The Engage tab, in particular, has become my favorite feature, allowing me to effortlessly publish content across multiple platforms. This not only saves me precious time but also alleviates the stress associated with managing various channels. And let's not forget about the AI assistant, which has become my secret weapon. It takes the pressure off crafting the perfect text by adapting it to any situation or style. With Meltwater as my trusty companion, I can confidently navigate the ever-changing landscape of marketing, knowing that I have the tools to succeed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't speak ill of Meltwater because it's a remarkable tool that not only encourages creative exploration but also delivers instant statistics on your efforts.

In addition to the smooth sailing of creativity, my position thrives on the insights provided by analytics. Meltwater effortlessly tackles the daunting and perplexing setups, sparing you the trouble. It's a hassle-free route to triumph!

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater provides insightful data that helps us create content tailored to our audiences. The dashboard and every mention tool make it so I don't miss anything in real time. I use Meltwater's every-mention tool daily and the dashboard weekly. As the only social media manager in the organization, it keeps me informed, and I can share articles or posts in real-time. The reps have been phenomenal and a great pleasure to work with. I've enjoyed the community and in-person events. The Meltwater Academy makes it easy to learn how to maximize the use of the Meltwater account. Connecting the accounts was simple. Working with Logan Nagai has been a great experience as he is very knowledgeable and takes the time to understand the organization and what tools to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface makes it seem like it's not user-friendly at first sight or if you don't use it often. Reconnecting pages is a slight inconvenience but very easy; the email reminders are great—ease of implementation for users who don't use it daily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As the sole social media manager, Meltwater helps me not miss any social media or website mentions. This ensures we maximize our earned media and connect with a broader audience.
Use the explore tab, Analyze tab and share tab to track every press hit we get every week.
What do you like best about the product?
The newsletter is amazing! There could not be a better or easier tool to use to share internally with our company. Customer support is always great!! Logan is such a big help.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downsides of the platform, is it does miss some press hits of ours and then we have to manually add the article into the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are great about assisting issues when it comes to missing an article we were cited in or when the social media analytics seem off. They are always hand ones and very quick to help assit.
Meltwater is awesome!
What do you like best about the product?
The scheduling/publishing portion of Meltwater is awesome! Very easy to use. Also our rep Logan Nagai has always been very responsive and helpful. I've used Hootsuite/Loomly/etc before, and Meltwater definitely takes the cake!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes tagging people/businesses while scheduling posts within the Engage Social Media portion of Meltwater doesn't work. Then I have to post, but then go in & edit it on my phone or desktop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since taking over Samet's social media, we were researching social media management platforms. Melwater met all of our needs & more.
Meltwater has been an invaluable tool for our work at APIAVote.
What do you like best about the product?
Its reliability to pull crucial data and provide data analysis via social listening
What do you dislike about the product?
It is able to pull content from social media platforms more than others, but overall it is very useful for understanding the social media landscape.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We monitor disinformation and other problematic content as it relates to democracy and AAPI communities. It helps us scour the internet for emerging narratives and other problematic content helpful for us to know and track and eventually act on.
One stop social and PR management system
What do you like best about the product?
The automoatic alerts are great and easy to set up. You get instant notices when you get a mention or pickup. Easy to manage and use. Excellent customer service. Very robust and always new tools and updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Steep learning curve if you've never used these kind of platforms and systems before. Can be a bit of a hasstle to set up but the customer services reps make it pretty easy when you get in a pickle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One stop shop for all tracking and listening management. Once set up and you get onboarded with the tool, pretty easy to use. Very comprehensive!
Critical insights across platforms
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater is not only a quality, one-stop media monitoring app, but we have been able to streamline other areas of our business like social media content development and scheduling. The all-in-one model makes cross-team collaboration seamless, and brings cross-channel metrics into one digestible dashboard that is easy to share with stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because the media database is so large, and you're getting results of complex searches in real-time, it can take a while to load results. In my experience, they are always worth the wait.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Social Media
What do you like best about the product?
I do enjoy the planning functions in Meltwater. I appreciate being able to have almost all of my accounts on the same platform - it makes it very easy to stay organized. I enjoy access to Meltwater Academy courses and our account support is second to none! Dani. Josh, and Chris have always been so helpful. I also appreciate the data analytics side of the service. It has been very helpful for me when reporting to my higher ups on social performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lately, my biggest frustration with Meltwater has stemmed from the Engage/Publish tab. Half of the time I try to attach a link to one of my scheduled posts, it doesn't work. It's very frustrating, because I have to go to the actual platform to schedule it. Then I'm back to square one of not having all of my platforms on the same service. Additionally, I'm often now allowed to attach specific photos to posts as they're "too big", again making me go through the actual platform to schedule.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is making is easy for me to have all of my data across all platforms in one place, in a report that is concise, visually appealing, and accurate. I report biweekly to department heads so this service is extremely beneficial. I am also able to stay organized, monitor our channels, and more with this service.
