Satisfied Meltwater Client
What do you like best about the product?
Platform is easy to use and navigate. Customer service has been excellent. Any times we have concerns or run across issues, our Meltwater reps have been quick to respond and resolve any challenges, help to guide us on how to access the information we are seeking or assist by providing us with the articles, news sources we are not being able to find on the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have a limited budget however it would be nice to have ability to include more licences and greater access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater has been extremely helpful in providing us with an easy to use platform to monitor our media coverage and give us good insights into reach and value of our media exposure. It has allowed us to easily benchmark performance and see how well our media outreach efforts are performing.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to go in and make edits to a search. The daily digest every morning is super helpful, and I love being able to log in and make adjustments or add filters to a given search. I use it every single day. And when we're in need of assistance, Katrina is always so ready and available to put together all the missing pieces for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it's fairly user-friendly, it can be a bit clunky and lag a bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is helping us track people and orgs spreding disinformation across the state of Montana.
I view Meltwater as an indispensable evil.
What do you like best about the product?
(To finish off my thought above)...Do I want to spend lots of my work day monitoring opposition statements online? Not really. But am I glad I have the foremost tools to do it? You betcha.
The Reports with all the analytics we can use = Badass. Also, customer assistance (through our account rep) is pretty top notch.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nailing down the Boolean search to produce the best search for our needs and then narrowing with filters and such can be annoying for (un-tech) guys like me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to observe/research what lots of people are saying in a succinct place. Otherwise that work would be scattershot or done with a jazillion Google alerts
Effective and efficient
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater saves me hours and ensures I'm catching everything I need to lay eyes on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing -- My challenges were overcome with the help of Meltwater's attentive and fun support team who are passionate about making Meltwater work for us!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is a lot out there and it would be easy to miss key content. It also saves me hours!
Analytics in Real Time
What do you like best about the product?
I love how intiutive Meltwater is. I also really enjoy the many features that deliver info right to my inbox . Dani Calhoon is also always amazing and respons so quickly!
What do you dislike about the product?
That I don't have time to use it more! I also wish reports were eaier to share in a visual manner

It gives me real time access to how the brand is being perceieved without haveing to ask an agency partner.
Meltwater is helpful
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to communicate with media very easily and in masses. It's great to have such a smooth communication channel. Also our current point of contact is very nice and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think pulling together dashboards or reports with metrics should be ultra customizeable for those weekly "newsletters" so that we can use those to send updates to all of our brands individually or company wide when needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I know we had issues with our previous point of contact but Meltwater was able to change us to someone who is very helpful.
Useful service with some kinks
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very easy to navigate, and once you understand the boolean search terms, it's easy to create different dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that our biggest media hits are often syndicated by smaller outlets, and the Meltwater algorithm will sometimes miss the original source in favor of smaller blogs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater gives us an easy interface to track media hits surrounding our institution, as well as gauge the potential reach of our earned media.
Great for media engagement
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater makes it really easy to create monitoring streams to track news stories with different keywords. It also makes it very easy to build contact lists and send media pitches.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited social media analysis and engagement. Difficult report generation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is helping us stay in the know about print/digital media and social media discussions, publications from our faculty, and more.
Meltwater makes it easy!
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater makes it so easy and convenient to schedule our social media posts. The added bonus of using AI enhancements within the platform is so helpful! Our monthly calls with Erica, our account manager, are always useful, and I know that I can call upon her outside of those calls if I need any help! I use Meltwater on a daily basis, and I'm so happy to have the opportunity to use such a helpful platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our Instagram account doesn't connect to Meltwater (this is an issue outside of Meltwater's control).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The automatic media monitoring newsletters that I receive from Meltwater make my life a little easier!
Comprehensive resource
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the media intelligence Meltwater offers -- from daily media monitoring to compiling a custom media distribution list. The Meltwater app and the new Chrome extension make tagging articles easy as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Media monitoring has its limitations. For example, there are clips that Google Alerts captures that Meltwater monitoring does not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining media monitoring without having to hop across different media website and channels on a frequent basis.
