Meltwater has transformed how we process, review, and engage with social media data
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater is a great tool that I primarily use for social listening and tracking media mentions. Meltwater is very straightforward and easy to use if you have some experience with similar tools. The support team is always available to answer questions, troubleshoot, and deliver an excellent experience. Being able to track mentions, schedule social media posts, and develop targeted search terms has been a game-changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the UI and UX could use some work. I often find myself clicking between the different menu options because I can’t remember where certain functions are housed. The tagging feature for LinkedIn is also hit and miss, which sometimes prompts me to post natively instead of through the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater helps us gather, track, disseminate, and use data to inform our digital content strategy. Seeing real-time metrics in the platform allows us to make decisions quickly.
Great and always expanding!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how many products we have access to, and how much they’re always adding. The customer support team is always extremely helpful and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Working with more local clients, we do sometimes run into the issue of not getting granular enough, so that kind of expansion would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s helping us stay tapped into all of client’s conversations and easily report. We also use it for influencer research and connection, which is much more streamlined than our previous methods.
A fine platform
What do you like best about the product?
Great for social listening and competitor analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workflows can be complicated. Needs to have separation of accounts in Engage when working with multiple brands. Conversations don't always pull everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nice to have a scheduler for social.

Meltwater offers insights that every marketing and comms professional needs to support their business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Costs can be prohibitive for teams with smaller budgets.

Meltwater provides tone and sentiment analysis for our brand and our partners.
Meltwater is easily one of the best tools available.
What do you like best about the product?
Great media outreach tool. Meltwater team always helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes currently. Product works as it should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater has been instrumental in supporting my team with media outreach, press release distribution, and sentiment reporting, among other tasks. Their comprehensive toolkit offers a range of features that would otherwise require multiple subscriptions from different vendors just to match the level of service and usability provided. Overall, my experience working with the Meltwater team over the years has been excellent.
Great tool for media contact lists

Finding media contacts and the support staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it crated media clip lists that were more tailored to my needs.

Getting me journalist contact information!

Being able to get more without spending more is the most valuable aspect of Meltwater.

Easy Peasy
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. I’m not on the platform as often as teammates but it’s easy to figure out how to operate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cutting the noise is sometimes difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater makes “scrubbing” the web during crisis comms efficient and easy.
High quality media monitoring tool
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use and adapt search criteria. Brings consistently solid results in a good overview and format. Customer support is always very reactive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes delivers questionable results due to filter limitations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater allows us to track our media coverage with little to no effort and gives us a solid overview of where we stand in local and international media.
