What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater is easy to use, and it parses out the content that we want for our members.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. It's easy to use, and provides solid content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's just another tool to be involved with our members, to provide them industry information for their use and entertainment.

I like that meltwater consolidated data sources from different sites.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI seems a bit elementary relative to some non competing products I have used in the past.

What do you like best about the product?
Sysomos had everything I needed it for -- superior coverage of social and traditional media, all in a very easy to use platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were some initial issues when transitioning from the Sysomos 1.0 to 2.0 platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously had a sub-standard media monitoring tool, which Sysomos helped fix.

What do you like best about the product?
I used to utilize Meltwater at my current PR agency and it was always very helpful finding media contacts.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seemed like it was not always updated with the most up-to-date reporter contacts. Seemed to be some growing pains at the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was very helpful locating media contacts and reporter's information. The platform was very beneficial in our pitching efforts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think Meltwater is on the right path, but it is difficult for other people in my office to understand and requires quite a bit of training. Our Meltwater representative is nice and helpful, but very difficult to pin down...seems like she's working with a lot of different clients.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater compiles news for you using keywords, so it makes you spend less time on searches every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's newletter function is not very customizable in appearance and can be confusing for others to read when it's forwarded on to them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Newsletters are not very customizable in appearance, but it is good for media targeting when sending out your own content to journalists,

What do you like best about the product?
The wealth of customisability and filtering in setting up alerts - using Boolean commands, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve was significantly steep, and documentation was not most straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater allows real time monitoring of coverage pertaining to clients, which is useful in enabling rapid response to coverage and awareness of media angles.

Very easy to use. It's features are truly unbelievable.

Price is too high. It is not affordable for a beginner.

I am a Digital Marketer and I am immensely benefiting from this awesome application.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
No doubt it is an awesome product. But also try other products which cost less as compared to meltwater. Also suggest me that product.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Meltwater is how customer service oriented the team is. We work closely with the New York office and they helped us address all concerns. They are always available when we need assistance with setting up a campaign (which is rare because the platform is so intuitive) and answer our questions within the hour.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is there is no feature to search for top journalists who write about a certain category (i.e. finance or personal care) along with your keywords.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to minimize the number of platforms we are subscribed to because Meltwater covers it all – everything from reporting to finding new media contacts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do an in-person meeting with your account representatives for an introduction! They have great employees and their top priority is setting you up for success with the platform.

What do you like best about the product?
This tool is good for coverage tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
Results are not refined enough, and often coverage is included like syndications, search pages, non-english sites, junk sites and more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a somewhat useful coverage tracking tool, but I find that tools like Google Alerts and Talkwalker's are more effective.
