Great experience!
What do you like best about the product?
The metrics feature. Love being able to analyze on our social media metrics easily.

The price of new features is sometimes too high for my company to add on.

Helps us find new media markets to enter. Helps us track social media data and manage our accounts easily.
Meltwater's is an essential day to day tool as a PR professional.
What do you like best about the product?
I really having all of my organization's media mentions in one handy platform. It is easy to navigate. I especially find the emailed reports of mentions helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found creating insight reports slightly difficult, however, with the new updates and ability to edit multiple aspects of the report very helpful and advantageous.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater allows monitoring media mentions very easy and accesible.
Worked with Meltwater for more than 5 years and have had a great experience.

I love support we receive from our reps Meltwater. They are always there to help when we need it, answer all our questions (in a timely manner), and are open to our feedback!
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to use for new users. It takes time to understand the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us show metrics for our PR work, showing the impact we have on the company and our stakeholders. We are able to use these metrics in presentations with senior leadership.

What do you like best about the product?
In today's digital age, Meltwater is a game-changer for businesses wanting to stay in the know. It gathers data from news, social media, and blogs, providing real-time insights into brand mentions, trends, and competitor activity.
What's great is how user-friendly it is—customizable dashboards and clear analytics help you make sense of all that data fast. Plus, their support team is top-notch, offering training and help whenever you need it.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's on the pricier side, which might not be feasible for smaller businesses or startups with tighter budgets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater has been incredibly helpful for me personally in media monitoring. As a marketing manager, I use it to track mentions of our brand across various platforms, from news articles to social media posts. Recently, during a Development Project launch, Meltwater alerted us to a sudden increase in positive sentiment around our Project, which allowed us to capitalize on the momentum.

The cost per key term to listen. We would love to follow more key terms but at the cost, we are unable to.

Listening to our PR as a company as well as our competitors, and the business as a whole. The daily emails are super helpful, without us having to google each term daily.
Great Tool! Worried it may be moving a different direction
What do you like best about the product?
I find Meltwater to be a great tool for media monitoring and analytics. Its comprehensive coverage and detailed insights help us stay informed about industry trends and track our brand's presence across various media channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am concerned that Meltwater may be moving in a direction that focuses more on business-to-customer (B2C) solutions, whereas our business model is strictly business-to-business (B2B). Additionally, we are not comfortable with having our company name prominently featured or in the spotlight too much, so tools that are trending towards influencer finders, etc, aren't within our perview.

A great networking and learning experience
What do you like best about the product?
The search for media contacts is really easy to use. I love being able to make multiple lists that can get really specific with the types of contacts I'm looking to reach out to.
What do you dislike about the product?
My company does not want to spend additional money for more social listening and media monitoring tools, so I wish these were more built in or a lower price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's making it easier to find new and established journalists and putting their info in one place, rather than me having to Google them and research on my own.
Always something new to learn

The filters to find sources and clips. Helping build media lists and contacts at specific sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
"Premium" upgrades are needed for Podcast searching. Can sometimes be overwhelming with the amount of add-ons and options.
