Social Listening at its best!

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the best about Meltater are the reporting features. I get all the data at the same place, and can share it to my team! I also like getting alerts everytime our company name is mentioned on social media or press.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I wish we could also track TikTok posts for social listening.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater saves huge amount of time! Instead of doing all the tracking manually, Meltater does it for me!

What do you like best about the product?
Our team has really been focusing on brand reputation this year, and Meltwater has been such a great tool in helping us understand our brand sentiment and areas where we can improve. I love that we can see what is being said about our competitors too— it's helped us keep a pulse on things we should be talking about and where we can stand out against our competition.
What do you dislike about the product?
We use Meltwater for social planning and scheduling, and trying to collaborate among teammembers feels a bit disorganized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is helping us understand brand sentiment and giving us an easy way to keep track of sentiment surrounding competitors.

Slightly confused with functions

What do you like best about the product?
Receiving fairly comprehensive reports of media mentions daily. I do like that support is available.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that news releases sent through the system are branded and let receivers know it's through Meltwater. I've also had trouble finding ways to properly analyze and show ROI because it's difficult to edit my larger lists and even find things like that on the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It doesn't really solve a lot of them and I find it expensive for what i get.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the daily Meltwater alerts and ease of access when social listening. Their customer support is also top tier!
What do you dislike about the product?
Boolean search can be difficult to master!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The abilty to socially listen across multiple social media platforms is super handy to have in one place!

What do you like best about the product?
I can relax because i know i got everrything in one place. Also I can read impact of things in social media
What do you dislike about the product?
Many times information is lost or I see things that are not very interesting because everything is automatic or AI. At least in my field, which is politics, there are things that I would like to see in a different way.

Also, since the platform is so big and has so many things, it is difficult to take advantage of everything, even if I have staff that teaches me or tries to help me use the tools.

It benefits me because in one place I can follow the mentions and the times that certain people I am interested in following are mentioned.

On the other hand sometimes the platform fails and there are mentions that do not appear but it did not happen so many times.

Too big for our current needs, but a great product!

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater's inclusion of free training and help through Meltwater Academy and mCommunity were crucial elements in my success in my new position. Not a lot of similar products include on-boarding and training like this, so it was very easy to learn and start building the day to day searches and reports I needed. As the most frequent user of Meltwater on our team, there were a few times where I needed the assistance of a Meltwater rep and I found that the customer support was extremely helpful, timely, and often above and beyond. One time the rep replicated my report in a newer format that was easier to implement in my weekly workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately most of Meltwater's features go beyond what we need for our smaller organization. We do not use Meltwater for our social media listening, so those features go unused. As a smaller organization that is not consumer facing, our media monitoring needs are a bit different, and we have found that Meltwater's growth, while fantastic, is outpacing us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is helping us get a sense of our media mentions and allowing us to report back to our leadership in a way that is visual and palatable.

What do you like best about the product?
We will be moving to Meltwater in 2025. After multiple demos and conversations, we're confident Meltwater will better meet our needs for media tracking. Specifically, the AI tools, media lists and making sure we capture everything mentioned about us in the media.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything to dislike yet! Looking forward to really diving into the platform in 2025.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is solving our issues of missing media mentions.

Exploring trends and evolutions in online conversations. Managing campaigns and product launches to collect direct feedback.

Platform limitations and inflexibility (TikTok, YouTube,...)

It helps us collecting posts and articles around our brand and our products. Gives us direct feedbacl. It helps us getting insights into upcoming conversations or ciritcs.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate that the platform brings everything I need together in one place, making it easy to avoid juggling multiple platforms. It's great that I can analyze and schedule social media posts, as well as receive detailed reports on our performance. Plus, the monitoring feed is a real time-saver when I'm looking for mentions of our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit challenging to get used to the platform, and it might feel a little confusing at first. Overall, the product works quite well. That said, there are times when the scheduling feature for social media might experience some technical hiccups and could benefit from a little review now and then.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I appreciate that they continually adjust the features and consistently update the platform. It's great that they keep pace with the updates on social media, which is really beneficial. Occasionally, there are some issues with social media, but I've noticed that they work to resolve them over time.
