What do you like best about the product?
The ability to dissect what audiences are saying about our and competitors products. Track sentiment and virality of a product to help determine the likelihood of success once we launch
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to track TikTok or stories which is where most of the content for our category is found so we are missing a massive piece of the puzzle.
What can and can't be downloaded from the platform to manipulate in excel.
Only being able to track 370 days at a time and only being able to compared saved searches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater provides us with invaluable data and insights. With the Explore function, we can monitor online conversations about our organization and related areas, while also comparing those discussions to competitor activity and analyzing trends over different time periods. My favorite feature, however, is the "best time to post" recommendations within the Engage function. By analyzing our audience’s activity and peak online times, Meltwater suggests optimal posting times, significantly boosting our engagement across all social media platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s nothing I dislike about Meltwater. However, I do wish platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook had less restrictive privacy regulations, as accessing more data would be incredibly useful for our research and insights - but that's a social platform issue, not a Meltwater issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater helps us gauge public perception of the foundation, its initiatives, and topics related to Primary Immunodeficiency (PI). With these insights, we can address misconceptions and strengthen our messaging.

By tracking conversations around similar foundations, Meltwater provides us with valuable benchmarks on how others in the industry are performing, what they’re focusing on, and where we can stand out.

Meltwater’s recommendations on optimal posting times enhance our engagement on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter. This allows us to refine our content strategy based on audience behavior and trends.

For campaigns like World Primary Immunodeficiency Week (WPIW), Meltwater enables us to measure reach, engagement, and overall impact. This data helps us assess what resonates with our audience and fine-tune future campaigns.

Meltwater also simplifies the process of identifying advocates and potential partners discussing PI or related healthcare topics. Engaging with these individuals amplifies our message and broadens our reach.

With Meltwater’s robust reporting capabilities, we can effortlessly create data-driven reports that showcase the foundation’s impact, outreach efforts, and engagement metrics—valuable for keeping stakeholders and donors informed.

If any negative narratives emerge, Meltwater allows us to quickly identify and address these issues before they escalate. This real-time insight is key to effectively managing the foundation’s reputation.

What do you like best about the product?
It helps us monitoring the tv stations, the radios and websites. We use everyday. So that we can improve our reports for ours clients. Customer support is efficient when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Keywords and boolean are not always clear to use and efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we can have more media covered than we could have without it.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Meltwater for our social media management and social listening, and it has completely transformed the way we approach digital marketing. The platform's user-friendly interface allows me to effortlessly schedule and publish content across multiple channels, while also providing real-time insights into how our brand is performing. I especially love the social listening features, which let me track brand mentions, monitor competitor activity, and understand audience sentiment, all in one place. The ability to quickly assess trends and adjust our strategy has made a huge difference in our approach.

What stands out the most is the exceptional customer service. Anytime I have a question or run into an issue, the Meltwater team is quick to respond and always offers thoughtful, helpful solutions. Their support has helped me maximize the platform’s potential and stay ahead of the curve with our social media strategy. Meltwater has truly simplified and enhanced our social media management, and I can't imagine working without it!
What do you dislike about the product?
One aspect of Meltwater that I find a bit frustrating is the "Every Mention" tag. Whenever I post something on social media and mention my company, I receive an alert about my own post. While I understand the value of tracking mentions, it would be much more useful to only receive alerts about mentions made by others, rather than my own content. The current setup can make it difficult to differentiate between organic mentions from customers, followers, or the media, and my own posts. It would be great if Meltwater could offer a way to filter out alerts for self-mentions, allowing me to focus on external engagement and relevant conversations around my brand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater has been a game-changer for us in solving several key challenges in our social media management. It provides us with real-time insights into our social media performance, allowing us to track engagement and adjust our content strategy accordingly. The platform’s social listening capabilities give us valuable visibility into what other brands are doing, what’s trending in our industry, and how competitors are performing, which helps us stay competitive. This insight allows us to refine our messaging and make data-driven decisions to improve our reach and effectiveness. Additionally, Meltwater's streamlined interface makes it easy to manage our social media campaigns across different channels, saving us time while enhancing our results. Overall, it’s helped us stay on top of trends, improve our strategy, and stay connected with our audience.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater accommodates multiple accounts and large businesses with ease. Publishing is simple and scheduling posts weeks in advance is helpful. Built-in link in bio is a major plus for Instagram accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The website can be slow at times and occasional lag occurs. It does not support publishing videos as Reels to Facebook yet, only Instagram.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides great insights into social media metrics across accounts and platforms. It is very useful in managing multiple accounts on different platforms, allowing access to separate or combined metrics, conveniently grouped comments, and refined scheduling capabilities.

What do you like best about the product?
The responsiveness of the team behind Meltwater is very impressive. So helpful and courteous, they go to lengths to solve your issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
In spite of the training (which is excellent and thorough), I find the platform itself isn't massively intuitive. For example, while I was on Annual Leave, a colleague was unable to use the platform in my absence. Granted they hadn't received the training so this is a minor issue, but it certainly takes getting used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is the tool which we use for PR Outreach, but also for monitoring. Our C-Suite have been very impressed with the sentiment report.

What do you like best about the product?
The design of the platform, it allows myself to see easily what i need in terms of performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, dashboards have a limitation in terms of graphics. In addition, i often have some missing articles...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm not able to count every mentions we have and do a calcul in terms of reach. So now i'm able to give some interesting resuts to my managers to explain the impact of my work and also do some benchmark with the competiton.

Sentiment analysis for Tagalog is not as accurate as English, which may be improved to serve better for the Filipino market.

Meltwater platform can directly provide data and insight in a real-time manner. Moreover, we are utilizing the data and get more analysis as per leader's guidance.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater does exactly I need it to do - from social listening, to media lists, to sending press releases. It's easy to use and I check the alerts every day. I also appreciate the Meltwater community and their training/certification programs. Finally, the AI assistant is a great feature, especially in helping identify journalists and brainstorming headlines/pitches.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes glitchy - I've had to clear my cache a few times to get parts of the platform to load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater helps PR pros with social listening, building media lists, and social media and influencers. It's helping centralize our programs in one platform, and provide comprehensive reporting.
