Seamless integration and thoughtful support tools
What do you like best about the product?
Adding journalists to the database is a smooth process. Pretty much everything in Meltwater is intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outreach emails are too easy to send accidentally. I wish there was a second "are you sure you want to send this?" check and greater customizability of the email's CSS.
I also wish that there was more access to podcast contacts in the database.

Organizing media lists and finding new contacts for outreach.
Helpful consolidation of resources
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that it was able to consolidate what we previously had as several tools (media relations, media outreach, etc.)
What do you dislike about the product?
The journalist database felt incomplete and needed more updating. We often have to do a lot of supplementary research off of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides us one consolidated platform to learn from what we are hearing in social media listening to more effectively pitch journalists.

What do you like best about the product?
We use Meltwater to send customizable newsletters out to our staff. We find it very useful and user friendly! The staff are also very approachable. They let us know about any updates or features that would benefit us.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no downsides, everything about Meltwater is strightforward and user friendly. Staff are knowledgable if you have any questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The system is so in tune with our wants and needs, because of set defined key word searches, it's very easy to send purposeful newsletters to our staff.
Meltwater is an essential digital marketing multi-tool to keep in your back pocket
What do you like best about the product?
It's incredibly helpful to have a one-stop-shop for monitoring brand coverage (and being able to filter by coverage type!), setting up press release wires, and media list building all in one tool. I use meltwater virtually every day in my role and in many ways it blows other PR tools out of the water. It's easy to navigate and customer support is always on deck to help with any roadblocks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only things I would change are the limitations - you can only download so many contacts per month, and adding more than 500 contacts to a given media list is tedious since you have to add them in batches, which can be difficult given the limitations of the search function. As someone who likes to build large, comprehensive media lists for cross-referencing, this can be a struggle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is my go-to for anything to do with broadcast coverage - not only does it catch broadcast mentions that other platforms miss, but it gives me a look at the impact of that coverage through reach and social echo metrics that I can share with my team.

The AI side of the platform still needs some work as it implemented

I'e explored multiple listening tool and most of the are expensive, and dont give that good results, but meltwater pricing i liked and the features are satisfactory.

Few months back there was a severe lag which was solved afyer many days which hampered work

I love Meltwater primarily for ease of management of social channels while utilizing their social listening to keep tabs on our businesses as well as competitors.

It's a beast to get onboarded, and can take a bit of time to get it set up to work for your needs.

Found Meltwater to be very helpful, especially in terms of finding media contacts in various fields.
What do you like best about the product?
I can usually get assistance 24 hours a day, regardless of the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you have to go through a bot before connecting with a real person and that can be time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to know who writes about the cultural intelligence industry. Meltwater provides a list of who writes what, and allows me to select a time-frame. So I can find writers who authored a piece on Hispanic consumers last week or last month.
