User friendly.
What do you like best about the product?
Social media analytics are very easy to develop.
What do you dislike about the product?
When scheduling social media post through the Meltwater platform sometimes the tagging feature is unavailable. Also, I dislike that you don't get the benefit of having a premium X account and it's increase character usage while scheduling posts using Meltwater.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater helps by making social media analytics easier to make/understand.
Great media database with exceptional capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to create my own media lists, update them and then save and share data that I've sent through the system. Additionally, I find it very helpful to know my open rate and who has opened emails I've sent them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find sometimes find searching for media contacts super clunky. Some lists are ultra long and take me a long time to sort and others don't turn up great results. I think that's tied to the search parameters which I have not yet perfected. I also find that not all contacts are updated as frequently as you might expect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me reach key media contacts and track coverage. I also use the analyze tool to build earned media and coverage reports.
One Stop Shop
What do you like best about the product?
I like the Newsletter feature to share industry news internally, in addition to Outreach and Reporting tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Prefer live customer service vs. chat!!!

Industry intelligence and tracking of media coverage, as well as media outreach.
Excellent platform for PR pros
What do you like best about the product?
The functionality to explore and analyze media trends, clients and competitors is excellent. It has reduced time on client and new business projects significantly, while positioning our team to provide valueable insights to our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The media database search function is clunky and at times not up to date.
The social media content management is not as seamless as other tools.

SOME OF OUR CLIENTS NEED REPORTS ABOUT MENTIONS AND SENTIMENT OF THIS. AND MELTWATER SOLVE THAT, WITH A EXCELLENT SOCIAL LISTENING TOOL WERE YOU CAN HAVE AN OVERVIEW OBOUT YOUR BRANDS AND THE COMPETITIONS
Overall the interface is very intuitive and the webinars are helpful

The "Monitor" feature that allows me to see view the tags from different posts

Sometimes it takes a long time to load because of the large amount of data

I like the campaign report that Meltwater offers beacuse it provides insights into the potential reach and favorable of the content

What do you like best about the product?
We have been using meltwater for a few months now and it has been a helpful resource to have as our organization is going through staff changes to ensure we are reaching our marketing goals.

I think I'm still learning to optimize it.

What do you like best about the product?
It's great for data collection and monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not have the ability to pull expansive Instagram and Facebook data due to Meta privacy policies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unable to pull expansive set of instagram and facebook data due to Meta privacy laws.
A convenient tool but pricey.
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater has a great amount of functionality if you go in for one or many of the large packages/tools. It has the potentially to be a one-stop-shop for a lot of PR and comms functions, providing you have the money to invest.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's extremely expensive. My current contract includes only some base features for PR monitoring. I use this regularly but for the price you would expect it to include a lot more of the other features. At a bear minimum I would expect a reporting feature on the lower tier but it's a purchasable add-on. Meltwater is great, but only if you have the cash to splurge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater keeps a track of most platforms where we might be mentioned and pools them into one easy feed for tracking news. I have chosen daily e-mail bullet-ins for this which are really handy at giving me a synopsis of any coverage of our company or competitors before I even have to enter the app/platform, saving me time.
There are better Social Tools out there
What do you like best about the product?
Some features like open keyword search and quick data analysis. which provideds me with analysis and deep demographics for brands
What do you dislike about the product?
The usual lags, and the pricing doesn't really provie the worth of the features. There are better audience and social intelegice tool, which i've personally worked with. The boolean queries also has limitations when compared to other giants in market
