I have used it minimally, but have a training session scheduled later this week.
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to compare my company to similar companies at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
From what I understand, it cannot pull info from Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn posts. That would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can easily create graphs with monthly social media analytics to share with my team. It is great!
Outstanding platform & team
What do you like best about the product?
The most useful part of the platform is definitely the artist reports and the influencer/top creator intel. You are able to provide full audience engagement plans!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing stands out as of such. However, visually/creatively the platform could be a little more inviting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building out fan/audience plans given the information it provides. As well as tapping into our influencer space.
Good platform, too many modules
What do you like best about the product?
I like the layout and visuals. Like the ability to share reports out to others that do not have Meltwater accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dislike that all the modules are separate and that you have to go between them to find what you need. Also do not like that you have to reconnect accounts so often + the email reminders for accounts that I do not have the ability to connect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Have used it the most to look at social activity around certain events

What do you like best about the product?
The platform has several filters to conduct thorough searches, date, type of content, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even with tailored Booleans, we still find unnecessary articles in our datasets. It always seems that something slips through the cracks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the platform to track brands coverage. Problems solved include understanding brand and competitor coverage trends.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Tailored booleans and data cleaning enhance the tool. Understand that the tool will not catch everything (no tool does)

The chance of having all the information I need in a single platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have the audience growing tracker of the profiles I admin and the influencers' profiles all together in the same place, due to the kind of reports I do.

To make the information more relevant for all the Teams.

Service from Meltwater is outstanding!
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the fact that the Meltwater support team is very approachable. They are fast in their communication and offer great support. I also really like the fact that Ingrid and James are strategically very involved, they are open to meet about any topic, and share strategic feedback for our clients which was of great value. I am working with Ingrid a lot, and it's a big pleasure working with her.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall I am very happy with the cooperation with Meltwater, especially on a service level. Regarding expectation management towards our client, it's sometimes been a challenge. As the paid reports via our tooling were (after hard work) not meeting the client's expectations in the end and this was what the client wanted to have in the end. However Meltwater pushed this and gave everything to help us trying to reach these goals. I appreciated that other opportunities were always looked into and presented, and Meltwater supported me in keeping our client happy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I teamed up with Meltwater to meet our clients' wishes for reporting and governance via tooling. They also supported me in strategy-related issues for the client too, which was something extra, which I appreciate.

If you want to work with an experienced team, that offers great support and really thinks a long with you on a strategic level, Meltwater is your partner!
A simple yet detailed way to collect the data needed
What do you like best about the product?
I love the function of being able to compare brands. It's so easy to use and the data is comprehensive, and being able to compare the keywords is great with for SEO functionalities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to see key media titles that brands are being mentioned in, so I have a more in detailed review of how brands or people are discussed online.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems we're solving are using the Explore function to work out how brands are discussed on social platforms. We have realised how useful it is to have the Twitter mentions to see how our clients are involved with the trending topics.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We think it's extremely easy to set up, but using the support network at Meltwater is really beneficial. Some things aren't obvious to begin with but once you ask you can be spoken through the steps.
Good platform for simple social listening needs
What do you like best about the product?
Unlimited searches is very helpful, and it has a relatively good variety of sources. Easy to use boolean query builds, and simple and quick to navigate interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are limitations on the sources - such as Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest which are pretty key for our work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scraping of conversations around any given topic immediately. Also the bio analysis filter enables us to look at specific audience conversations on Twitter.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great tool for simple social listening, but if you are looking for something more advanced then you might want to consider another option.

What do you like best about the product?
Audiense is very helpful to my day-to-day. I'm responsible for planning campaigns and the tool offers very insightful data. The dashboards are very clear, simple and understandable.
What do you dislike about the product?
reconnect the social connections is the worst part, since sometimes we don't have much time to stop and do that. Even if it's a simple step, sometimes the team forget to reconnect it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Audiense platform can help me indicating the best clusters to reach. It's essential to define the best strategy for a campaign and enrich my work with insights and visions.
One-Stop Hub For all PR Needs
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love that with Meltwater I have the most updated database of reporters covering my issue. Emailing reporters is easy and organizing my list by beat is so practical. Through the years we've continued to add on services that Meltwater offers and have been so pleased. We use Meltwater for EVERYTHING! Newswire distribution, social media, and more recently all-media tracking. I also really like the great customer service when we have a problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the APP is not useful. I wish I can make necessary edits (especially for social media) in a more efficient manner. We don't use the APP -wish Meltwater would make that product offering better. I also wish they had a service to email subscribers as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding reporters that are covering our issues, our staff, and our cases has been a time saver! We've been able to build relationships with reporters that would have been very difficult. Like finding a needle in a haystack. The benefit of having all my PR tools in one place is fantastic! I also like the impact reports and dashboards. These help us see how we are stacking up against the competition and how we one year compared to the following for reporting purposes.

Take advantage of the classes Meltwater offers to learn to use the system to its full capacity.
