Miro my Hero

  • February 17, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the way that I can create my own canvases that allow me to facilitate my workshops in a linear fashion, one canvas at a time.
It acts as a valuable and visual data store that is not that moment in time post-it note on a traditional whiteboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found a dislike with Miro.
Our business has Lucid Spark licenses and when I use it, I'm constantly comparing it to Miro and saying to myself "Miro does that better" or "It's missing that feature that Miro has"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving multiple problems from Remote working due to covid restriction, aligning group thinking and visual way to represent it.
The main benefit I think of Miro is the way the tools allow you to collaborate and facilitate any meeting.
Another benefit is having that visual representation of our design thinking, it creates better interaction and a place to keep coming back to refresh and iterate.
I'm also solving a problem with having ADHD, miro allows me to keep everything in one place, I can categorise my boards in many ways, but most of all I can ingest the information easily in a visual way, without going back and forth in multiple documents where I can get distracted easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro gives you the toolbox as well as the tools to facilitate any workshop. Yes, there are other tools but don't waste the time learning the hard way of their limitations and inferior feature set.

Endless projects you could carry on with Miro

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
From projects to lessons, from notes to personal duties, the thing I like more about Miro is the endless functionalities the whiteboard has, and the easy of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this stage, it is still not possible to separate a pdf into different frames on miro. Some of the functionalities are not well explained in the tutorials offered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use MIRO for Lessons, tuitions, projects, school assignments, drawings, document creations, and many, many more. I use it for work and personal duties, as well as entertainment.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Read all the recommendations and watch all tutorials

Perfect for every single aspect of my work

What do you like best about the product?
I like the idea of a digital board that enables you to share everything with your team at any moment. You can copy past pretty much anything there and post it ideas or thoughts to which you can come back later
What do you dislike about the product?
It is taking a bit of time to load and the navigation is sometimes a bit annoying but it is really minor
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I put literally everything there, tasks, research, user flows, wireframes, ideas, interesting articles. I'm summarizing everything there too - meetings, interviews...

What do you like best about the product?
Collaboration and UX deliverables are very easy with Miro.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working daily in Miro solving UX, HCD and feature problems for IOS Apps and Web Apps at Telstra
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Add more design functionality. Fix Zoom.

The main collaboration tool for our product team

  • February 17, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create and save free-form ideas, reorganize them, and export them in presentable ways, all within the same interface.
The voting feature makes it possible for hundreds of colleagues to collaborate all at once.
Also love the freeform commenting, the ability to share externally with a password, and linking to frames...all super helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there's a lot of untapped potential in Miro that I just haven't gotten around to capturing yet. No dislikes so far!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product management, opportunity solution mapping, team collaboration, asynchronous collaboration, meeting facilitation, brainstorming
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it. It's easy to get started.

MIRO: an upgrade for my business

  • February 17, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best about Miro is the possibility to increase the interaction with my remote clients presenting any kind of document, from charts to complex graphic design and video.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside, using the Consultant package, is that I cannot invite other members without doubling my monthly bill. But now i´m moving to a team account for a small difference without affecting my budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The brainstorming sessions will become a lot better with the upcoming video meetings, so I guess the ability to discuss remotely is definitely going to improve the outcome of our studio.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just consider carefully what kind of plan do you choose. For us, the most essential benefit of MIRO was to have at least two teams, so we had to move from "consultant" to "teams". Besides that, using MIRO is a beautiful and tasty piece of cake.

Favourite app for brainstorming and planning

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Lots of space to write down and group ideas for brainstorming. Easy to navigate and very fast. Mimics a real whiteboard
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot see who posted the sticky without having to right-click into info
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorming with a semi-distributed team. Allows for a centralized medium for brainstorming similar to real life. Easy to organize (can move multiple stickies at the same time)
