The right features for great impact

  • June 04, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is intuitive and it has the right features to express your thoughts and easily collaborate with your team mates and customers. Its simplicity and easy to use features helped a lot to make it THE tool in our company for remote interaction and sharing thoughts in a tangible way. It's close to white board activity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I miss team management. I would like to see teams as well in the side bar next to projects, so that I can either add a team to a new project or build a project for an existing team. In the create project dialogue I want to select from existing teams and individuals. Individuals that are already selected for my project should be highlighted (ticked) in the member list.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for story mapping, investigating issues and drafting solutions. It's my digital white board to express and develop ideas. The big advantage is that you have a digital copy easy to share and develop further.

The perfect collaboration tool

What do you like best about the product?
It's simple to use but has a mature feature set that is constantly being updated and every update brings a new feature I love and use most days.
What do you dislike about the product?
Selecting and locking can be finicky at times, particularly when attempting to group a number of objects of different types, sizes and shapes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are building an AI app and an ML ops platform. It makes discovery, planning and brainstorming super easy and is the only tool I've found effective working with distributed teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just try it out on a small project and you will love it. If you are a visual thinker or need to share ideas quickly and easily to any size team, Miro is the tool for you.

Miro is super helpful

What do you like best about the product?
I'm an IT Project manager and I use Miro every day to make flowcharts, wireframes and decompose complex tasks into smaller chunks. It make easier to collaborate with my team and clients. A couple of my colleagues started to use Miro too :)
What do you dislike about the product?
I use MIRO both for business and personal purposes, if there would be cheaper subscriptions for single users that would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When starting a new project (a website or an app) I study the requirements from the client and break them down into user flowcharts, using simple stickers and lines. After that I point out problems or missing information, and collaborate with a client to see if we have the same vision on the project. Usually we use these flowcharts throught the project. After that I decompose complex tasks into smaller chunks to discuss them with my team. So basically, I use it every day for visualization and pretty satisfied with that.

The world is ready for Miro

  • May 25, 2020

What do you like best about the product?
We have used Miro and its predecessor for a number of years to support collaboration inside of our consultancy. Our clients have been reticent to jump in - until now. Since the current pandemic began, we have conducted live strategy brainstorm sessions in Japan that turned into a virtual company wide offsite aimed at scenario planning and mapping customer journeys. In the US we have conducted a remote StrengthsFinder workshop with 17 techno-phobes and are about to engage 30 people in a program review exercise. Combined with Zoom and its breakout rooms, Miro has allowed us to design and conduct engaging high impact programs. These require careful design, preparation and facilitation - all worth the effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
The things I dislike are being addressed. It is now easier to help participants locate themselves and to be located by the facilitator. Integration with Zoom will be great since the Miro video chat feature takes up too much real estate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Strategic planning, webinars, mapping customer journeys, creating business model canvas solutions
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it

Best research organization and team collaboration tool for Game Studios.

  • May 21, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to organize information, collaborate with team members and bounce off ideas with each one of them is just unparalleled with this tool.
The amount of convenience and order that this tool brought to my team is unbelievable. We had already set up a pre-production discussion room with several whiteboards and pin board before Covid 19 outbreak, but never get to use it.
Miro filled that gap. I dont think we would have been able to do 90% of the things we do on Miro on a physical pin board. Each day im amazed with it's capabilities and features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far at all. Maybe improve the desktop app more!
I have no complaints at all. Usability wise its amazing.
But I wish there was a video call feature. it would be a nice addition.
Also each comment notification comes directly to my email inbox which was a hassle, until I filtered them into a separate section in Gmail. Hope if you can do anything about that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. remote team collaboration.
2. Research organization in a visual manner
3. Displaying data and information graphically and making connections with each other
4. Collaborative inputs from team members in a very orderly manner.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a very powerful tool and quite versatile. Am pretty satisfied with the way it helps in articulating complexities The ease of use and you find treasures as you start. Whenever you need something , Miro never disappoints. The product team has thought through what you might want.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. Would like Apple pencil support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business model testing and visualising the bigger picture . I find it extremely useful to communicate to my team very complex ideas .

Wings4u is remote company and Miro is an amazing tool for the collaboration of virtual teams.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to do cross collaboration. The easy of use and the user interface. The fact, that we can do creative processes, brainstorming, workshops in Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
That the free license gives you 3 boards for free. I would welcome 5, but understand the business model behind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstormings.
Sharing notes and ideas on whiteboard with virtual teams. This was one of the things we were missing. In a traditional set up we would gather in 1 conference room and write these ideas on a flipchart and then work with them further.
Now the same functionality is enables by Miro, only we do not have to meet physically.
I also like - that the archive of these brainstorming's, workshops are kept in the separate board.
