Great collaboration tool for running workshops and meetings
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to see my collaborators in real time making edits to the work, and the fun emojis that we can attach to them as well! I love how easy it is to have the images from splash and plugins that make it more visual.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike, perhaps on a small note - that sometimes Miro lags or slows down when working on large files. This can be embarrassing when working with clients as they can see it lag. There was also one incident where all of Miro's files were lost by a server crash, but this was resolved within 4 working days and they were responsive about this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving human centered problems with Miro. The benefit I've realized is how simple yet effective it is in team settings, but also to support individual thinking time. I find it super helpful for myself to think out loud in miro and map out my thoughts in order to get clarity.

Miro makes it easier to collaborate with the team
What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of features I like in Miro, first, I can upload pics or files and can view it easily in Miro (even pdf). I also use Miro for ideation a lot, so the stopwatch is really useful. I also like the auto font size on the sticky notes, and how it is sooo easy to copy and paste from a sheet to Miro. And the new feature that lets us share the link and edit it as a guess is so convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything particular that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do a lot of ideation with the team in Miro, synthesizing data from user research, and it is especially easy to work together
A tool I can't live without
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Miro for the past 2.5 years and it has become a tool that I no longer can live without to do my job effectively. The team collaboration abilities in Miro are second to none and it has truly been a lifesaver during these COVID times. Everything from team brainstorms, retrospectives, user research synthesis, to work planning is done in Miro. I'm able to easily bring clients into the board for both easy client-facing collaboration as well as work easily with my internal team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing that comes to mind is that the navigation can be difficult for new users. PCs have a different navigation than Macs and sometimes new users struggle to zoom in and out on their screen. It would be great if there was easier on-boarding for new users to test out the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily collaborating across my internal team and with clients while all working remote. It enables us to brainstorm, synthesize, share concepts with users, and more. We truly use if for at least 3-4 hours a day. A huge benefit versus in-person is that all your brainstorms are persistent - no longer do we have to collect sticky notes, count them, and write ideas into an excel. In Miro, it's all right there.
Far away, but not alone
What do you like best about the product?
Miro helped our team finding new way to remote working, replacing and even empowering our procedures, canvas, daily routine and boosting our creativity.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is impossibile to restore older versions of the board
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote working
Amazing collaboration tool. Revolutionizing the way we work, but more importantly, the way we think!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the freedom that exists in Miro. We are so often strangled by the limitations of the applications we use. I won't name names, but certain other monopolistic software companies I find to keep everyone in pigeoned into their way of working. Miro allows you to be creative and work in the way you think. We have found endless possibilities in Miro on our Strategy and Transformation team. Without Miro, especially in COVID, I don't know how we would do what we do.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is always something wrong with software, no matter how good it is. There are bugs in Miro, and we have submitted tickets. It seems like they are expanding so rapidly they can't keep up with the ticket requests. We would love to see Miro be more responsive to our IT tickets/
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Miro to run Design Thinking and Value Stream Mapping exercises with our clients. We also have used it in other ways, like software design and configuration. It is perfect for anything and has replaced other tools that held us on a tighter rope. Using Miro is freeing!

Try it out!
Very comprehensive collaborative tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the concept of a collaborative vast virtual whiteboard board with endless capabilities for teams to put their thoughts effectively together while not able to be on the same room, its an all -inclusive tool with great potentials for innovation and ideation as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
the experience can be made much better with more easier training videos for new users and better user experience in the editing tools that are common in other tools in use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with teams spread around the world and we get together and share our ideas and thinking collaboratively. Within the Business Architecture practice at Cisco, we found the tool very useful for conducting planning and design thinking workshops. Now specially with Work From Home era, its also used with local teams and customers from the comfort of everyones work location (home/office)
Much more than a professional tool
What do you like best about the product?
Miro gave me FREEDOM to do what I want and need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some technical issues like doesn't have a offline version and image loads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot! The most important, a personal issue. I was diagnosed with attention deficit... Than a friend shows me Miro and it was what I need it to organize my thoughts. The tool gave me all the freedom that I need to do it as I need.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think about a Miro as a extension of your thoughts. Much more than just organize post its on a screen. Don't think about make sense... Just put there and take a look first. Than, move it how you think you need. :)
The BEST tool we use for workshop and team collaborations. Likely to continue even after covid...
What do you like best about the product?
Super intuitive interface and tools for digital collaboration! Our team works super collaboratively. Miro lets us do that without having to be in the office. Now we are also using Miro for customer workshops. it saves us so many trips and the even customers loves it as well. i also very much appreciate that Miro been very proactively asking for feedback and ways to improve the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
one issue that annoys me the most: when i duplicate a sticky-note that's already filled up with content, trying to ctrl A replacing it with new content, it always accidentally zoom out and select the whole board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
team project collaboration and customer workshop.
we don't need to travel to office or for the workshop

Recommendations to others considering the product:
make things visual is much better than spreadsheets and word doc.
An amazing tool to tangibilize ideas
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for all. From a unpretentious meeting to run ideation workshops. To me what I like best is the possibility to connect the whole team into a board (information is widely known and widespread)
What do you dislike about the product?
Definitely the performance when connected with Microsoft Teams or other sharing screen platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly UX problems related to tax and accounting business. Mainly to compile outputs from research phase and ideation stuff.
I came from a business and client profile that are not aware about platforms like Miro, so it's kind of mind blowing when we connect with a client with a old mindset in a old type of business trying to think togheter how to solve a problem. In short, the benefits to bring this type of client using Miro is to bring them close.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I strong recommend people to implement Miro in your daily work life. To me, makes everything easier.
In this reality we are currently facing, Miro helps you to make progress working collaboratively.
What do you like best about the product?
The easiness people can start collaborating once they are on the board together along the many free options you can do.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like people to collaborate without signing in. Sometimes we need something for a quick meeting and providing the link and people having to register is might lead to friction.
