The essential tool for distributed teams
What do you like best about the product?
I can't imagine meetings with distributed colleagues without using Miro. Whether it's planning or presenting Miro is the bomb!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike not being in the same space as the people I work with, Miro makes that a less bitter pill to swallow!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had less engaged participants before using Miro. Miro has a stunning array of features that with a little practice you can really up your game in facilitating remote teams and organisations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Like any new tool uptake in your org can be slow, so be ready to evangelise Miro's features to your colleagues.

Reflections on remote team work using Miro
What do you like best about the product?
I like seeing people working in real time the most. It helps to see and feel the presence of remote team members.
Template library is great, a lot of them I use on a daily basis, user journey or persona.
Converting issues to Jira items is accelerating my work a lot.

What do you dislike about the product?
Video calls are creating confusions and might be hard to connect to quickly.
Voting with > 5 gets messy and because of lots of clicks there is no possibility to vote.
New featues pop-ups on the main page appear to often and annoy me. I like built-in guides much more.
Each board has a different resolution, copying and pasting objects can get messy.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working on a software product, so Miro is a space for early collaboration, like drafts and meetings to kick-off the feature.
Benefit for me is possibility to mention a team member, as well as having the comments with possiblity to put them everywhere.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great improvement and software to help remote teams collaborate and get in touch with each other. Miro itself is very easy to understand, even for users with low technical savviness.
Recommended for all remote shared activities and for personal study activities
What do you like best about the product?
I really liked Miro, even before the covid era, as a digital support for a shared activity with my team. I like the various templates (mindmap, customer journey, brainstorming, ...) through I can illustrate any type of content. Furthermore, the post it and comment feature allows the team to write down every thought and work on it even after the activities.
With the covid era I could appreciate Miro also:
- as a tool for the remote workshop: for his easy to share and use with anyone.
- as a personal board in which I can write down ideas, insights / results of search, useful link, image. I can paste it everything!

What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that in a comment you cannot mention a person who is not part of your (Miro) Team. I think it could be a useful feature because I often work with people from other teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is helping me, during this covid era, to continue to work with my clients, also in a remote mode:
- for the shared activities , as the workshops.
- for illustrate and show my outputs, through the 'presentation mode'.

Cross-team collaboration made easy (esp. now with Covid-19)
What do you like best about the product?
Miro supports various ways of collaboration with multi-disciplinary remote teams: tools for quick brainstorming (post-its, mindmaps, templates), mood boards and collecting inspiration from various websites, having focused threads so no one gets lost (comments and frames/boards cross linking), fast idea sketching where all the teams can bring their POV (UX wireframes), Slack integration (staying on the top of the game), all-in-one presentation mode (being efficient and making beautiful things all in one, and no need for switching to other platforms) and being able to see other people in one space which really embraces the feeling like being together in one room
What do you dislike about the product?
Missing grids or rulers (esp. for presentation mode), being able to draw more efficiently and that's about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All in one solution (can replace Trello, or some other tools) for remote teams collaboration - for very specific teams like (design only) to other multi-disciplinary. Especially really important now when everyone works from home.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The best tool for collaboration in 2020
Best tool for collaboration and ideation
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has very smooth performance. Even with large number of users. Also it's intuitive that new users can get used to pretty easily. So working in the remote setup is very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The wireframe tools still needs work. I would like to more editing in sticky notes. For example, making parts of text bold etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The whole company is working remote. So we need a visual board to get discussions going and be on the same page of what we're talking about. Miro made the remote transition less painful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't looks elsewhere, best tool for collaboration. Also has lots of features to fit everyone's needs.
Simple, Efficient, and Brilliant: Miro
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Miro is the ability to collaborate with my colleagues, and to share our ideas and concepts with one another. It's great that we can leave sticky notes and comments (especially in different colours which is great for colour coding purposes!) for one another on our ideas to further explore our concepts virtually. I also love the range of different types of boards and mindmaps that we can use to help share and collaborate with one another in a virtual setting. Being able to see who's online at the time is also another great bonus to using Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much that I dislike about Miro, but sometimes the boards can be a bit slow to load, this could be because of the file sizes myself and my colleagues are trying to upload and view. Other than that, there's not much else to dislike about Miro!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems myself and my colleagues are solving with Miro are through live, virtual collaboration with one another. It's been beneficial, especially during these unprecedented times, to be able to work and communicate with each our virtually, from home, while still feeling like we're working together in the same space.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're thinking about using Miro, give it a try! It's the perfect solution to collaborating virtually with your team.
I use it for literally everything...
What do you like best about the product?
Getting ideas down fast shouldn't be complicated, Miro makes it fast and easy. Every time I think "I need to do X", there is an easy solution available at hand. Such a fantastically designed product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. I can't think of anything to improve, really. Maybe some additional fonts and colours would be nice :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
brainstorming and mind-dumping everything in my brain to help make sense of it all...
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They have thought of everything...
Great Collaboration tool for Design
What do you like best about the product?
Real time collaboration works right out of the box. Has useful templates to get you up and running. Ive found that most of the tools required for online collaboration for white-boarding, ideation, journey mapping etc.. are available and are intuitive and easy to learn. Miro has been indispensible now in a remote working environment
What do you dislike about the product?
With a bunch or templates ( i mean lots ) the load times for a board takes a while. The table ( Grid ) feature and mind map feature are all serviceable but could be more flexible and streamlined.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote collaboration is an essential outcome that has been realised by Miro. If you are using an existing tool with added-on collaboration features ( eg. MS office ) then I highly recommend you move to a dedicated collaboration tool like Miro.
Covid made me explore the seamless integrations in Miro & now Miro is there in most meetings.
What do you like best about the product?
I am a Business Analyst, Miro's integration with Jira, Gsuite and wireframes are my right hands now. And the templates - they are savior. And you don't have to erase to make space. "What's new" section - OMG, I have never been so interested to read product updates. I can go on. I also like how it keeps us organized with timer option
What do you dislike about the product?
On the top of my head is When I loose my formatting while converting card to Jira.. I just say when will Miro prioritise this issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for Story telling(presentation feature) and run all kinds of workshops in Miro
I use it for collaborating on Designs and setting priorities, Brain storming, for defining processes, Models and what not

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is the future not only of Remote work. It is one of those tools that you can't imagine to not have when you talk about culture, collaboration, Productivity and environmental responsibility be it any industry. Even if you are running a workshop with everyone in Office, think twice before using physical stationary now for workshops and the amount of time that goes into entering all the outcomes into other collaboration platforms which Miro seamlessly integrates with. Miro has helped me create a highly collaborative environment for my geographically distributed teams and raised engagement to a level never seen before. Miro enables me to break any complex discussion into a simple story
Invaluable for Remote Brainstorming
