Perfect timing for group collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has been a great tool during our work shutdown. I have been able to take a group of people who sometimes have difficulties using new software and have taught them to not only use our Miro board to show performance measures, but people have really enjoyed using it (especially being able to see changes in real time). Because of it's ease of use everyone has been able to participate in updating our measures.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately when sharing this program with others, they have created boards that I cant remove (unless we pay for the subscription), but other than this it has been great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to update information regarding performance measures to create a tier board. From this we can start planning on how to perform better as a team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it, you'll like it!

Miro - A Part of the Everyday Suite
What do you like best about the product?
What's not to like? The free form dashboards where you can build out brainstorm sessions, org charts, kanban boards, etc. all in one view. How easily teams can collaborate and stay connected in a virtual world. Sticky notes are an incredible feature in terms of team collaboration and brainstorming- I'd say it's easily one of the top used features/functionality. The user experience and design- every tool and template is visually appealing, easy to use, and easy to understand/present to clients and teams. The organization of teams and boards to a very granular level make for easy organization of internal teams and clients boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is not enough people know about it. There's always a bit of a learning curve, but once your team is on board you won't turn back. Otherwise, there isn't many areas of improvement for Miro. It combines some of your favourite and best collaboration techniques and tools into one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Biggest problem that's been solved with Miro is keeping teams and clients connected during a notably tough time. For the most part, we've all gone virtual and keeping teams/clients engaged via email and phone calls can be tiring. Miro boards enable real-time collaboration in a fun and meaningful way. Most recently, I've been using Miro as a Kanban board, which I find to be an underrated template/tool. It's saved me time switching back and forth from platforms to track tasks at hand and progress for a project that is being managed/collaborated on within Miro.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be open to learning about a new way of working and collaborating with teams and dive head first into Miro. I was reluctant at first, but the more you play around with the features and functionality you'll find a lot of your collaboration/team initiatives that are hosted across multiple platforms can all be done in Miro. In one single view.
Miro one love!
What do you like best about the product?
Endless online board, tools for activities and opportunity to communicate with teammates
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. If something is out of Miro, it will appear there very soon, I`m sure
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote team communication, team ideas board, that can be revised very quick
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for comfort space for your remote team work, idea generation and collaboration - Miro is your online heaven
Perfect tool for business analyst or product owners
What do you like best about the product?
I can use an infinite pizzaron where I can put all my ideas and share them with my co-workers. The good thing is that they have a very complete free version. I almost eliminated all the tools I used and only use Miró.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more integration with office tools and be able to automate tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am dedicated to understanding business models and understanding all the situations to develop software. I also use it to mock up screens and to save important information.
Great Collab Tool
What do you like best about the product?
That fact you can plot processes, export and also collaborate with your team. This is now an integral part of our teams remote working
What do you dislike about the product?
export options could be better, the app is easier than the site
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
process mapping is my main use but it also helps me get live input from the team
Made it exciting to collaborate in separate spaces!
What do you like best about the product?
Many people can upload and write on a free form space at the same time and all the changes are visible. The space is pretty big and can work for what ever you need it for!! For college I used it to plan multiple group projects with classmates and then show it to our professors through zoom with side by side comparison of new and old versions of our project. I also used Miro to synthesize my senior thesis and plan to use it again for other projects both personal and professional. I think it works best for me because I am a visual learner and this allows me to compare and combine anything without using paper and a pinboard. I am excited to see Miro become more popular and plan to take it to my next job when hired ! :)
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing I have a problem with is the limit on size of uploads. It’s understandable that the page can only take so much, but it still gets tricky for bigger projects that I would like to look at fully. Past that the biggest downside is the cost, and the limitations of how many boards you can make.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is the best online collaboration tool that can be used both professionally and personally. In stead of not being able to show all the parts of a project at once and requiring someone to download separate parts or showing something with very low quality resolution, Miro allows you to see others boards and their work in full resolution and make comments immediately. You can also create a workflow list and see edits when they happen.
Best Group Study Online Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Studying with friends online and seeing their cursor point to something they don't understand. There is no other free tool that comes to mind that has the amount of whiteboard real-estate and allows for saving a bounded area for a pdf as notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The newest update to the pen UI makes it hard for a pen tablet user to utilize their macro buttons. I used to be able to just press the macro button to use the pen when I was done using the eraser, now I have to press the Select tool, V, first and then I can press P to get back to pen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're mostly just solving homework and sample exam problems for engineering exams. It's better with miro as it allows anyone to clear up a misunderstanding that words most of the time cannot describe.
Great way to organize work!
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is very easy to use and it is easy to upload projects from other places and import them into Miro so that I can organize them how I want.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is sometimes difficult to find where I put my projects on the board because I have so much work in there and there is so much space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it as an ongoing portfolio of my Graphic Design work and also as a way to show my process from sketvh to final product.
Game Changer for our Suddenly Remote Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Deep set of tools to enable planning remotely
Integration with other key business software in use in our organization
Ability to add users on the fly
Integration with other key business software in use in our organization
Ability to add users on the fly
What do you dislike about the product?
Little difficult to scale content consistently given the infinite nature of Miro boards
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to plan a relatively complex project in a completely new technical area with our teams all distributed. The ability to show people what we are talking about has removed barriers for us and kept our team productive.
We are also able to quickly onboard partners in our work by referencing existing Miro content.
