the quintessential work planning tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the infinite scape that Miro boards offer me. I'm a visual person so I often find myself restricted when working with word documents. Naturally, Miro does a great job with letting me visualize workflows, processes, customer journeys, scenario planning, etc... We also use it to plan and flesh out our quarterly OKRs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Two things come to mind: 1) seat plans and 2) board administration
1) I can infer how product monetization works. We're a small team and we don't all need to use Miro at the same level, however it would be nice to occasionally allow team members to create and edit boards without having to stick everyone to a monthly plan. I completely understand how no business can thrive trying to please such cases though :D
2) board administration can be tricky, between sharing access as links and sharing with team etc. Took a few attempts to understand how to share boards with team members and external parties.

It's a great tool for a big number of things. It's my favorite to build business presentations. for design thinking (simple co-creation or big online workshops), mind-mapping, task management, and roadmaps.... so many good appliances and it's very easy to use.

Team work simplified
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create together is great, all of our teammates are working together on the same project, seeing each others actions and cursors!
What do you dislike about the product?
We have to be on a zoom call together as a group, while working on miro to communicate as well. If we could have a feature wherein we could also be online on miro and talk to each other, that would really benefit the productivity. In addition to that if there would be an add-on or plugin like SketchUp, then it would be really good for architects and planners. Wherein we could design together, now we only think of design together but design individually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems are just some small bugs, when it goes offline for some time, it lags for some time. But, i think with the current frequency of updates, this will get resolved soon.
A great place for every day thinking, workshops and more
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like the best about Miro is that it offers me a flexible way to digitise my thoughts and bring everything into a single place. Working across complex projects there can be a lot of documentation, and things to capture. Using Miro, I can bring all of this into one place, and analyse everything in one place, without needing to track multiple files or links. Better yet, I can share one link with colleagues who can also see all my work in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not a lot I don't dislike - I think sometimes it can be a bit fiddly to do diagramming with, e.g. flow charts, but overall it's not that bad. One other small issue is that given there are often new features added, meaning things can move around a lot. I know that I often don't get to use everything on offer, but for the core work I do, the product is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working on various UX problems with people around the business. The benefit of Miro has come in being able to have everything in a single place that anyone on the team can look at, and refer to when needed. It also really helps with collaboration (especially now hybrid working is becoming more prevalent.)
