Great for holding virtual workshops
What do you like best about the product?
That teams can collaborate in a virtual space, almost like you would in person. I like that we don’t need to “pack away” a workshop when it is done and we can build on it outside of the workshop.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tech issues when you have some attendees not being able to see the Miro board it’s just black for them. So the alternative is for us to get these contributors to contribute through another channel (teams) and we share our screen so they can follow along. It would be great to play “thinking” music when we ask people to brainstorm than it being so quiet on the line, and it’s not quite the same when you play it out of another device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to collaborate and generate ideas in a virtual working environment. We have practice days where our practice comes together to hone our skills as designers - we hold a few Miro board session to run these workshops - We’ve heard other teams cancel their practice days when they can’t meet in one place! We’ve proven that we don’t always need to be in the same space in one time to hone team skills
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it, explore what’s possible, it’ll change your approach to some of your workshops and team collaboration for the better.

Simple yet useful
What do you like best about the product?
The biggest one is that it has lesser input lag on my Wacom Tablet compared to the competition. One of the great benefits of the platform is the implemetation of drawing in the whiteboards. This helps me to draw on an established section of the presentation without worrying too much on those traces to disappear (ej. like the markers of Powerpoint). Other benefit it's the zoom capability on any part of the whiteboard, this (in addition to the last benefit) aids me on managing the space I had planned for the classroom.
What do you dislike about the product?
For now, that the free service limits you to 3 whiteboards. It's makes you more cautious on the material you are creating at best. At worst it's creating more stress for making a reliable one all-be all whiteboard. The other one is that I need to hustle around the fact that I need to create externally LaTeX equations, for me it is vital for my online classes and giving a more professional appeal of my presentations with the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating an e-learning enviorment that is appealing to my students and it's easier to me to work with them. One of the benefits are the snippets of different sources; it is a powerful tool for linking eye-catching resources to an already charming presentation. The plus is that I can create a presentation and write on it without a problem of the drawings getting erased.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have a reliable drawing tablet (like the one from Wacom) for aiding the drawing software tools on your disposal. If it is possible, stream the board on one computer, and in other device stream your voice, mostly for the peformance on the computer when rendering the visuals.
The best virtual whiteboarding tool I’ve found!
What do you like best about the product?
Simple, clean interface - aesthetically, it’s beautiful. And the team is adding the right functionality in time.
What do you dislike about the product?
You fixed my dislike! Although it would be great to integrate with Spotify so power facilitators can use their own curated playlists for workshops.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to mimic an in-person collaboration session with highly-visual artifacts. We use it to ideate and select options for our product ideas
Very handful tool for remote business work.

Simultaneous work with other colleagues.

Excellent Team Collaboration Application
What do you like best about the product?
Easy Virtual Team Collaboration that has been incredible to bridge the gap that COVID has brought upon a lot of us. Makes it much easier to drive great brainstorming and planning sessions. The canvas makes it easier to build great sessions with different teams, plus it is intuitive and easy to adopt. Great tool! In times where our team, which spans across several countries, has had challenges collaborating, using these templates and essentially an infinite whiteboard has allowed us to improve how we work together. By using different templates within the application, we have been able to drive a lot of improvements easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like more tools to perform calculations. Would also like to learn what other applications can be synched to extend the capabilities of the application. There might be some that I am still not aware of, but maybe proactive insights would make it easier for me to understand how I can connect Miro to other applications, creating a much more robust solution. It would also be great if I could tap into a user community to learn what other users are doing and how to benchmark great solutions. I tend to struggle when I am not entirely sure which template best suits my needs at the moment, so would be great if I could easily look at what others have built through other uses cases, so that I can get the creative brain juices flowing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote work, cross-functional collaboration. It has made it much easier to collaborate and generate great brainstorming sessions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It might be overwhelming at the beginning, but it really is an intuitive tool that is easily adopted and that really allows for great team collaboration.
Miro Launchpad
What do you like best about the product?
All the features in one common shared place , i dont have to install and open many softwares on each of the devices connected in the team
i like the pointing and framing sytems , makes the visual storytelling part at its best, i have been telling everyone at work about it and everyone is very very amazed and impressed , a few already decided to use it

What do you dislike about the product?
i'm not sure but maybe if you give the user the freedom to only show desired features , it would be even simpler , maybe the cost is it a bit too much , maybe it should be cheaper so that everyone can use all the features , or maybe a person can customize their own miro board buttons and menus to be tailored per user , so that the user can optimize his or her performance based on their optimized menus
i also disliked the fact that when i was done with the program i lost access to all my boards that i have made , i have worked very hard to see them dissapear :( , if theres a histortical project board tab that would be just awesome :)
but overall i dont dislike miro at all , in fact i have been telling everyone at work about it and everyone is very very amazed and impressed , a few already decided to use it

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
sharing powerpoint slides , jira stories (with all their types ) , and agile meetings , problem mapping , empathy mapping
helps you share and track bugs and version control , collab with git and other voting and messaging tools help the team really engage during these covid times
i have realized that all the benefits are basically the same as using 10 different softwares simultaneously
this is especially helpeful when u have restrictions in a company for installing software , so a cloud service with all the needed softwares would definitely always help the team and their flow of ideas without and obstacles of security requests or access control

Miro is a great tool for collaborative way of working with teams
What do you like best about the product?
It provides flexibility and freedom to work with teams and have everything captured using this tool at one place. Also, I liked the option of voting out against the available sticky notes, it provides great value addition in saving time in taking decisions at team level.
What do you dislike about the product?
During initial phase, It takes little time to get used to it. It wasn't easy to resize the board, lock/unlock the frames and hence was causing some sort of irritation while using this tool. But with the time, when one is used to it then it's not a problem anymore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Have a working meeting using this tool, make use of sticky notes and meeting notes. Voting option is also a great feature.
I was able to use it for retrospective meetings, taking actions out of the meeting and also for any brainstorming activity. We also use it for our regular meetings where we setup the agenda along with backlog and then we work towards those items using Miro tool. It's also integrated with Jira so it provided flexibility to put items on board.

I liked this tool after I started using it and I recommend it to other based on my personal experience. It's a great tool for online collaboration, working with Agile methodologies and have working meetings.
This tool can be used for not only regular meetings but even for other scrum ceremonies as it has voting options so we can use it for any brainstorming session as well.

The best collaborative tool
What do you like best about the product?
I think Miro is the best tool for collaborating and gathering multi-function in one tool. For me, it's essential because of COVID-19 situation. We cannot meet directly but can collaborate smoothly by using Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is only one thing to note that Miro is a little laggy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Already mentioned above
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro offers free account, so why don't you make it try? It's easy to use, share and collaborate by its UI and frameworks.
High performance collaboration with customer and team members in discussion.
What do you like best about the product?

The best remote-focused collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I love that teammates can work in real time to create storyboards, map ideas, and share any creative ideas. It makes it so easy to collaborate while being in totally different spaces, or while on a Zoom call.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’m not a fan of the highlights of changes while I’m not logged in. I like the idea, but also would like to see who has posted things after I clear the highlighting. Maybe this feature is somewhere I have overlooked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to use google docs and sheets to organize information with others, but this space allows for much more creative collaboration by being able to organize things in different ways. I would actually likely use this even if I go back to working with others in person, just to keep our ideas, thoughts and processes organized. Now we use Miro to come up with interior design plans for a client and share individual ideas. We’re also able to merge our ideas into one singular thought process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I know it’s hard to want to try and learn an additional new program when we already need a million programs to get our work done, but Miro takes essentially no time to learn, it’s super simple, and really helpful.
