Miro is my favorite creative and collaborative space

What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about Miro is that it has become the heart of my daily work and even my personal projects. I love being able to collaborate in real time with others and see the entire process of an idea in one single place. The timer functionality for workshops is amazing and helps me facilitate very dynamic sessions. I also love organizing my boards into folders by project, it gives me clarity and structure. And since Miro added AI features for clustering ideas, I feel like I work faster and more efficiently. It’s a tool that sparks both creativity and focus. I genuinely love it with all my heart!
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I no longer enjoy using other office tools because Miro already covers most of my needs. However, one thing I do miss is a “mini Excel” function within Miro—some kind of table with more robust logic to manage data or basic calculations without having to leave the platform. I feel like if it had that, it would be an even more complete tool for project planning. That said, it’s a minor detail compared to everything else it offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me solve several key challenges in my day to day work as a consultant. It allows me to centralize all project planning, ideation, and collaboration in one place, especially when working with remote teams or across different time zones. It has significantly improved how I facilitate workshops, manage visual thinking, and co-create with clients. The ability to document and visualize entire processes, from brainstorming to final delivery, makes my work more transparent, efficient, and engaging. Thanks to Miro, I'm able to save time, maintain alignment with stakeholders, and foster more creativity and participation in every project

Great for sharing ideas!

  • May 15, 2025
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of being able to put various important pieces of information about a certain subject on a board and evolve in a shared manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is heavy to carry, the more things we put on the board, the slower it becomes to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can have a unique place with mappings, sprints, executive insights, and important links.

What do you like best about the product?
Visualization of concepts and engagement of people to develop and collaborate over those concepts.
Moreover the integration with Jira allows to create complex timeline boards where many people can synch their work and dependencies
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular, some times when a board gets huge, Miro can slow down or crashing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualizing concept, diagrams, presentations and have people interacting with them

Good product with some limitations

  • May 15, 2025
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a great place for dumping your thoughts down somewhere, and is a great place to collaborate with other people (who have licenses if you're in enterprise with security sharing restrictions)
What do you dislike about the product?
They have introduced Workspaces but I don't think this has solved the problem of Miro boards becoming dispersed and hard to track, you just end up with loads of new tabs making it even harder to find what you're looking for
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the ability to work flexibly through digital stickie notes, and the ability to paste in stickies from Excel is really helpful so it solves that problem of going from research data in Excel into an environent where its easier to visualise

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- smooth collaboration, remote cursor movement is realtime sync with what user end did.
- good fit for remote work environment, even on the hybrid that has some team member at home on WFH day.
- good looking and easy to use, easy to understand UI
What do you dislike about the product?
- less tool for drawing anything
- the anchor for arrow is still not consistent, make me always end up to adjust it manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- remote collaboration use to be image sending on the chat, and it super inconvenient
- on remote meeting it hard to understand where did speaker talking about, with real time cursor movement it help us focus the right area.

Game Changer application for facilitating discussions to outcomes!

  • May 14, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
Miro feels like a playground where I can be as creative as I want in an easy-to-use interface to create beautiful content for workshops, team discussions, brainstorming, planning and general collaboration. Without hesitation I can say I use Miro everyday, often with multiple boards on the go simulatneously.

I find that the features of Miro add so much value, to name a few, Miroverse which allows the worldwide community of users to share templates has been invaluable. The ability to integrate with other tools such as sharing the Miro application through MS teams has been a game changer for our workforce.

It's a very easy to navigate platform, zoom in and out, drag and drop, add your content, and if you make a mistake simply undo, you don't need to be overly technical to use this product. I find that as a facilitator I can very quickly implement this tool into a session getting people up to speed with using the application if they are new to it, so that we can focus on the conversation and getting to the outcomes.

Tools such as the timer, voting, ability to create anonymity, react in real time and session recording are all fantastic facilitator features. It's also very easy to export and share content post sessions and the AI feature is amazing, it has cut down so much time in analyzing and theming content.

If I have ever had an issue or question (which has been rare in my many years of use) the customer support has been fast, friendly and effective. Love this application, if you haven't tried it yet I suggest you do!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I have found is the lack of music options available. I rely on using this to create an inviting space for people to reflect and brainstorm, I wish I could choose the music to create that environment. With only the handful of options available and the number of sessions I run it becomes a bit repetitive. Linking up to YouTube Music or Spotify would be great or somehow just allowing external music to be played.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Group and team kick offs. Creation of strategies, annual and quarterly planning. Deep dives into employee engagement, uncovering pain points and brainstorming to potential solutions. Brining remote teams together to collaborate and have fun together.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I've noticed is the absence of layer based system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier brainstorming with my co-workers on the project.

The ultimate tool for creatives, intellectuals, professionals, and basilcally any human being

  • May 14, 2025
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is simple, clean, intuitive, and user-friendly, but it is also very powerful. The aesthetics of the interface are nice. Everything I want to do is possible with Miro (with very few exceptions). I will use it forever and it's extremely difficult for me to believe that any of Miro's competitors will ever make anything better. It's integration features are pretty robust and they release new and exciting features on a pretty regular basis.

I use it many times every single day. I feel naked without having access to Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
As powerful as Miro is, there are times when I wish for more functionality that mimics programming -- the ability to reference dynamic variables that could be updated by editing the original reference. Some of my casual collaborators can struggle to use Miro via the browser version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's one tool that allows me to combine both PKM (Personal Knowledge Management) and GTD (Get Things Done) systems on one platfrorm that feels fluid an cohesive. Everything can be linked to/from Miro. It's SO easy to find what I'm looking for. It's easy to create attractive diagrams and graphics.

Miro is great for cross functional collaboration

  • May 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an effective tool for collaborating with other functions in the business. To work through complex problems and get alignment in the early stage.
What do you dislike about the product?
The board structure can be annoying at large organisations which have many teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When all employees can't be together, it is a visual tool to work through solutions.
