Lights and shadows

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's very visual, easy to share, easy to collaborate with, and has good functions for exporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to be able to organize the boards I'm interested in under folders or tags that make sense to me, as there may be boards I need to keep track of that are organized under topics relevant only to me, rather than the administrator's criteria. This would help me find them better, as the list of boards I need to browse is very long.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It help us collaborate in project planning, design and sharing feedback.

Art Pipeline Transparency!

  • June 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What's there NOT to like about Miro! From mood-boards to art development and art process pipelines. I've been using MIRO since 2020 when the world went remote. Which has allowed me and my team to work with a larger pool of talent world wide. It's integration with task management software allows us to keep at production visible and the PM's and produces happy with smooth task tracking. Over the years I've used Miro in a multitude of different ways. It adapts well to different pipelines and has helped streamline multiple studios I've been at now since 2020.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure if there a capability in MIRO or not for interactive UX development yet, but I think that would be a nice to have or even an image history past history (light source control). Sometimes I will save over an image by accident and I cant undo to the original. Also, I would be nice to have some templates for iterative design approval. But I love the software especially the desktop version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the issue of the iterative art processes and allows the team to have a very transparent view of the creative process. Old processes would include posting updates in JIRA or some other task management software, or in a chat thread like Slack, Teams, or Discord. Miro allows every step to be visible and relevant.

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has come in handy for both me and my team over the years for many collaborative and individual projects. It is so easy to use and has many creative features. I use it every day to work on placing content for my team, create templates, and brainstorm ideas. It helps us migrate content easily when needed and draft new variations of many projects. Miro is an amazing tool for the remote working world and I highly recommend it!
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have many dislikes for Miro. I can't wait to see what future updates hold.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving problems in every category listed above. It helps me come up with new designs every day.

    Computer Software

Flexible features, but unwieldy

  • June 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Good place to collaborate as teams when brainstorming
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is clunky and it can be often hard to find the board you want. Things easily get lost, search is unreliable. The desktop app uses an ABSURD amount of memory on Mac OS, on an new and overpowered M3 machine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are an all remote team, so it can be hard to work together on planning effectively. Miro gives us a tool to do that in real-time

Intuitive and helpful visualization softwre

  • June 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Miro makes really easy to help visualize complex concepts and project plans. Miro is often the starting point for our team whenever working on a project that involves multiple moving pieces. I also really like the template library which is a helpful starting point.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I dislike about Miro. It works for my use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem Miro helps me solve is related to communication. Whenever I am making something in Miro, my goal is to communicate a complex process or concept. Miro helps me put information into a visual format, and then share that format in a way that others can easily share their feedback and collaborate. It makes teamwork easy in a remote environment.

"I enjoy using Miro to organize my online English lessons—it helps me structure activities clearly and keep everything interactive and engaging.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s nothing I dislike about Miro. The only challenge was getting used to the interface at the beginning, but once I became familiar with it, everything felt intuitive and easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps organizing my lessons and materials.

    Management Consulting

A tool firmly integrated into my day

  • June 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Miro for it's versatility and features which help me massively in collating ideas, collaborating with clients and team members and illustrating the relationships between digital features and components.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro, like many cloud tools, runs the risk of trying to be all things to all people. Whilst not overly impacted yet, I feel feature bloat is starting to creep into my experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Essentially it is a canvas that allows me to organise inputs to any project, and unpack and organise my own ideas in such a way as to be able to communicate those ideas to a broader stakeholder group coherently.
