Robust Features That Can Be Finetuned

  • October 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro daily for work. Miro is a solid tool for remote collaboration, making it easy to conduct virtual workshops and brainstorming sessions. I appreciate the ability to customize the boards to fit my needs. The search function is also effective when I need to find specific information. Additionally, I value the wide range of templates Miro offers, including both community-created and Miro-branded options. I find it helpful that these templates are organized by use case, as this organization allows me to get started more quickly or find inspiration for the boards I design myself. I use the Adobe Express integration and like that there are many integrations available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Providing stakeholders with access to Miro can be challenging. Many of my colleagues do not require regular access, so when I host a workshop and share a guest link, participants sometimes have trouble joining, which leads to wasted time and reduces their ability to participate fully. Additionally, the keyboard shortcuts could use some improvement. Shortcuts that are standard in other tools, such as 'Send to front,' are either different in Miro or missing in certain modes, like the strikethrough text option. Occasionally, I find that a feature I expect is either unavailable or difficult to locate, because there are so many features to sort through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is my project management hub. It helps keep me organized and aware of all my projects and tasks. Miro also facilitates remote collaboration.

Excellent for Brainstorming, But Needs More Intuitive Cursors

  • October 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Great tool for solo or group brainstorming.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the cursor functionality is non intuitive. I also feel there are too limited of shapes and objects to use for brainstorming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My whole team works remotely, making brainstorms extra challenging. Miro solves this problem and keeps group sessions interactive even when we can't be in the same room. In that regard, I see it as an essential tool.

Indispensable for Design and Collaborative Thinking

  • October 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Miro for five years mainly to organize my thoughts and prepare my work ahead of the design phase. I particularly appreciate the tool's quick learning curve, with features that have gradually evolved since we started using it, which facilitates continuous adaptation and integration into my projects. Miro offers an impressive ability to manage various media, such as large whiteboards with images, post-its, tables, and diagrams to outline flows. This allows us to more easily visualize the different ideas and decisions made during the research phases. Specific features like the timer and the ability to vote are time-saving assets for organizing workshops. Miro allows me to take a step back on the design of our tools' features, to share different ideas, to prepare design workshops, and to keep track of the ideas and solutions chosen. Miro completely meets my expectations and I recommend it 100%.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawback in my opinion is that the search among all the boards is a feature reserved for users with a plan higher than ours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me organize my thinking, prepare design workshops, and visualize ideas. It facilitates the sharing of ideas with colleagues and provides a visual record of all the reflections conducted.

Best way to go from chaos to clarity or keep audience engaged in a workshop

  • October 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The intuitive setup makes collaboration straightforward, whether team members are invited directly to the Miro board or simply follow along as I share the screen and take notes for everyone. I value the flexibility to collect any information in one place, brainstorm for there and finally organize ideas; going from a chaotic pile of information to a neat storyline. The colorful and visually engaging design not only enhances the overall experience but also makes it easier to distinguish between different categories as you can color code anything you add to the board. One feature I particularly enjoy is the option to add 'visual links', which keeps everything neatly organized in one place (ensure sources are present but in a nicer form, and you can even skim through pdf directly from the board). In the end, the only real limitation to how you present information on the board is your own imagination. It makes it easier to explain your train of thoughts to an audience and is a wonderful visual support for lengthy workshop.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's perfect for what I need personally (marketing strategy). I'd like access to more parameters re. collaborator access though. For example, being able to create different links depending on the access I want to give certain group of people (vs one link that distinguish only team members access vs outsider access). Also being able to see the password again once it's been set up (can't remember them all). And allowing more control on 'edit' e.g. some people could be able to add to the board (post its, links) but not move or delete anything (without having to block all the elements for everyone).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting work done - having a place to dump all the information before next steps. Being able to go back to it and evolve as we go. Get the client engaged in the process.

Great for fast ideation, but needs better branding options

  • October 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Quickly being able to get ideas down on a canvas, great for workshopping. Easy to get to grips with the basics and get started. Template library is a big help too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of branding and customisation - it's sometime embarrassing to show our work to stakeholders, because we can't make it look branded
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting ideas down on a canvas quickly, and being able to visualise a whole system very quickly. We also use it for outlining workflows and experimenting with ideas quickly.

Intuitive and Versatile Tool for Organizing Ideas and Flows

  • October 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
How intuitive it is. How easy it is to use and the number of options available for creating flows, ideas, outlines, organizing sessions, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only problem I've ever had is the difficulty of moving around the board because of how big it is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Miro mainly to define the different flows within the company and connect them to each other, for example, the flow of operations with that of marketing and sales. It is a very easy and intuitive way, and all teams can see what happens in each case of the customer journey.

Simple and Accessible, But Learning Curve for Non-Process Thinkers

  • October 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicty and accessibility (along with a free plan) that allows my business processes to adjust.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can see there being a bit of a learning curve for many. It can also be challenging if you're not a typical process based thinker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me solve holes in my conversion funnels. This lets me ensure customers receive multiple touchpoints in their journey to becoming a client. It also helps layout processes for SOPs.

Excellent Collaboration, But Resource Usage Needs Improvement

  • October 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Collaboration on Miro is both easy and intuitive. I appreciate being able to create a board for each project, which makes it simple for the entire team to access timelines and production goals. This setup really enhances our workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro is not well optimized, and I find that the app runs no faster than the browser version, which is quite disappointing. Since I use Unreal Engine for work—a program that already demands a lot of system resources—adding Miro into the mix often slows down my PC significantly and consumes a large amount of available RAM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool has greatly simplified communication among multiple teams working on the same product. Collaboration has become much more seamless, and it's now easy to track what other teams are doing and monitor their overall progress.

All-in-One Project Powerhouse: collaboration made simple.

  • October 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Miro is that it’s an amazing tool for project management. It integrates seamlessly with Jira, which makes it super practical for planning and organizing Sprints. It’s also incredibly easy to collaborate with teammates, and everything stays perfectly synchronized in real time.

It also has a huge number of features — you feel like you’re using multiple project management tools, but everything is in the same application and fully integrated with the whole team.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Miro is that the default font size when you start typing can be a bit annoying, although it’s something that can be easily adjusted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps our team stay integrated and organized in a practical and efficient way. It allows us to keep all the project information in one shared board, so everyone can easily access updates, track progress, and stay aligned. This makes collaboration much smoother and helps us manage our workflow more effectively.
