Excellent Collaboration Tool for Team Design Sessions

  • December 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The tool is excellent for collaboration, I can add my team members from different company in the board and it was extremely helpful. It made my design sessions collaborative and helped my stakeholders to see the prototype before the implementation
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version offers only limited features and allows access to just half a board. Most of the useful templates are restricted to the paid version, and I find the membership cost quite expensive for an individual user like myself. It would be helpful if there were some concessions or more flexible pricing options. When I tried to create a study plan, I found the templates too rigid and complicated to modify. Even after creating my own template, it was extremely difficult to adjust the layout to fit my needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform allows me to turn vague ideas into structured workflows, which I find very useful. It also offers real-time feedback on these workflows, making the process more efficient. I appreciate how easy it is to add team members, whether they are from the same organization or different ones. Additionally, the board offers unlimited capacity for creating content, which makes excellent use of the free board feature.

Unmatched Flexibility for Creative Collaboration

  • December 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most is the flexibility. With this tool, I’m able to do nearly anything. From hosting team-building activities and games to creating structured brainstorming sessions and design thinking workshops. I honestly can’t picture my workday without opening Miro. It allows me to organize my thoughts and ideas, save links or images I want to revisit later, and monitor my annual goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the icon and image library in Miro could use some improvements, especially when it comes to the variety of options and the effectiveness of the search function. The only time I find myself getting frustrated with Miro is when I'm searching for icons. Additionally, I wish they would introduce more stickers, as it seems like the selection hasn't changed much since I began using the platform years ago.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro makes it easy for me to collaborate with colleagues around the world, no matter the time zone. It streamlines my ability to plan, organize, and monitor all my projects in a single location. I also use Miro to run workshops and sessions with our teams, replicating real-life activities like using post-it notes and dot voting. Using Miro is enjoyable, too. Whenever I introduce it to a new team member, they usually pick it up quickly and find the experience engaging. Whenever a work problem feels overwhelming, I turn to Miro to organize my thoughts and share them with the team, ensuring everyone is on the same page about what needs to be done.

Streamlined Collaboration with Intuitive Interface

  • December 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Miro for designing workflows and components for our mobile app development. The ability to model the entire workflow, including real app screenshots and detailed user flow, is invaluable for both stakeholders and developers. It's incredibly convenient to have all the business rules and logic clearly laid out, making discussions about the app's behavior straightforward and efficient. I particularly appreciate the easy navigation features of Miro, such as using the mouse wheel to zoom in and out and the middle button to pan across long horizontal boards. This makes accessing and reviewing information on the board very efficient. Moreover, the real-time collaboration feature, where I can see and follow my teammates' mouse pointers, enhances our remote discussions significantly. The initial setup was seamless and the platform is very intuitive, making it easy for new users to join and start working collaboratively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes accidentally make changes to the board while browsing, like left-clicking by mistake or moving components out of place. I would appreciate a read-only mode that would prevent unintentional alterations. While I can usually spot and undo these changes, it's easy to miss them, and having a read-only option would be very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to model workflows, incorporate real app screenshots, and detail user flows, enabling easy review by stakeholders and developers. Miro's ability to show all mouse pointers enhances remote collaboration, while easy navigation improves access and efficiency.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro beneficial for collective brainstorming sessions for visualization and organization of a multitude of ideas. I appreciate how it simplifies the process of adding new ideas and grouping them, which contributes significantly to a coherent brainstorming environment. I can easily make changes, and Miro's structure adapts seamlessly, ensuring smooth workflow adjustments. These features collectively create an intuitive and accommodating user experience which is why I rate Miro highly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The zooming functionality can be problematic. Sometimes, I find myself with very large post-its on one side and very small ones on the other, which affects the readability and makes managing the board a bit challenging. I wish the spaces could automatically adapt to make the content more uniformly readable. It is also a quite basic tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I love how visual Miro is and how easy it is to organize ideas and thoughts, which enhances my creativity and efficiency as a freelance artist. The capability for mind mapping and idea generation on Miro allows me to narrow down concepts and draft ideas effectively, which is crucial for my creative process. I've also found the initial setup to be straightforward due to my prior experience using Miro in university, which made integrating it into my freelance routine seamless.
