I am a Scrum Master, so I work with Miro to collaborate with my team, as well as have the usual Scrum ceremonies and workshops.
The features or capabilities of Miro I have found the most valuable so far are presentation mode, timer, the usual posted notes, and being able to insert images from the internet.
It is important for me and my use cases because my team works in a hybrid environment, so it's not always that we are all together in a room; it's very useful to use Miro online, to collaborate.
I find indispensable for remote team collaboration the posted notes, which we use a lot for retrospectives and sharing thoughts and sentiments.
For brainstorming sessions, I find using templates that are offered by Miro itself very useful, as well as sharing thoughts using Post-its, and breakout rooms; I haven't been able to access breakout rooms, but I have participated in breakout rooms myself, and they are very effective.

What needs improvement?
One improvement that might enhance my experience with Miro is the zooming in and out feature; when you zoom out, you may find that other sections or parts in the board become a lot smaller, so they're not evenly zoomed in or out, which is my experience.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Miro for the last five years.
What was my experience with deployment of the solution?
I participated in the initial setup of Miro for my team by setting up the board and subscribing.
The challenges I faced were that it was a new tool altogether, especially at the start of lockdown and COVID; I had never heard of Miro before, but the setup was manageable.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I would rate how stable Miro is overall as a ten; I have never had any issues with it.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I would rate my experience with the scalability of Miro as a nine; I started using it with a personal subscription, but the organization then took it on and I was able to transfer my boards across to the enterprise subscription.
There are approximately two hundred users currently using Miro in my company.

How are customer service and support?
I have never dealt with technical support directly for Miro; our Service Management team has handled that aspect.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Before Miro, I used manual Post-it notes and boards for these use cases.
How was the initial setup?
I participated in the initial setup of Miro for my team by setting up the board and subscribing.
I would rate the initial setup of Miro as a seven on a scale from one to ten, with one being difficult and ten being easy to set up.

What about the implementation team?
I participated in the initial setup of Miro for my team by setting up the board and subscribing.
I didn't deploy Miro myself, so I cannot specify how much time it took overall; I just set up the board for my team.

What was our ROI?
I have definitely seen return on investment with Miro, not necessarily in cost-wise terms, but in terms of time savings and connectivity, as well as collaboration; it has been very beneficial.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I don't have visibility of the pricing of Miro, but I know the free personal subscription was really great because it helped us until we got onto the enterprise subscription.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
I evaluated another solution before choosing Miro; however, I cannot remember what it was or the specific details as this was five years ago.
What other advice do I have?
I am an end-user of this tool, not an integrator, reseller, or consultant.
I am not sure which version of Miro I am currently working with; I just know updates happen regularly.
Our Service Management team supports the maintenance of Miro, and I usually get one person if I have an issue, so it's quite easy to maintain.
I haven't used any documentation or manuals regarding Miro because I find it quite intuitive.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
Public Cloud
If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?
A great support to organize and visualize your tasks
What do you like best about the product?
Productivity in our team improved a lot since we started using MIRO. What i think it's the best quality of this software is the ease of use: you don't really need a proper training for it, just explore and you will get it. All our daily meetings run on MIRO, and for us it's really convenient to visualize the timeline of the project, the tasks we have completed and those still missing. Some us find also nice the new AI background removal feature. I also love that MIRO is well integrated with Atlassian suite, Jira, Confluence etc, so dont really need to have multiple pages open.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe there's still some work to be done regarding integration of some scripts and functionalities we might like. One of this is a proper GANTT diagram, updating automatically according to current date. At the moment we have a timeline template, but we dont really see if something is delaying or what could be the cause for the project when one singular tasks is late. I would like to have more AI generation in MIRO, since at the moment you cannot really ask to the AI agent to do something, like "organize the tickets by number" or "fit the content" etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can all visualize the current status of the project together and with no sync issues. It's also convenient to gather info and tickets related to a specific project. I also use sometimes the diagram features to draw data flow and customer journey.
Ace Team Collaboration and Virtual Visual Aid Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the Miro templates as well as the options from building flow diagrams. It is really easy to map out a problem and get agreement to where we need to start and what pieces of the puzzle we have and where our key risks are.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro sometimes lags and can be difficult for people to join sometimes because it requires a significant up and download speed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of how we coordinate and align teams now that we are not working in a co-located world. Miro allows us to have team members from the Philippines to New York State working together one common space!
My go to tool for ideation and collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
The canvas approach is nothing unique to Miro, but they, at least in my opinion, deliver on it better than other tools I've tried. The extensive templates, ease of use, and rapid development of value add with new features make it a winning combination for me. I use it daily with my teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can sometimes find it tricky to locate a board due to the proliferation of them. This is a common issue with any knowledge base tool, and the ease of spinning up a board and getting it up and running can make it easier to start a fresh one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collabration and strategic planning.
Using Miro for online facilitation
What do you like best about the product?
It seems much more intuitive than other whiteboards I have tried. It never takes people long to work out the basics so they are able to participate in an online workshop. The templates are very good too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the login security is complex and hard to understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration between people who are working in different locations.
Best tool for collaboration and Mindmapping.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy ness of the program. Very intuitive. Many features, and listening good to the end users community.
What do you dislike about the product?
Board management stucture could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating visuals fast, And easy to co-collaborate or have hybrid meetings.
Very versatile tool
What do you like best about the product?
I use it for almost everything from roadmapping to planning to process flow diagraoms
What do you dislike about the product?
My work is not very easily transferable to outside of Miro
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is my go to tool for everything that I mentioned earlier.
Magnificent Miro
What do you like best about the product?
Miro's collaborative innovations are amazing. It's super easy to use with a team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if Miro had more shape and line features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is currently solving multiple users being able to work on a visual in real time all at once. There is little to no lagging which makes the real time editing even more advantageous.
As a business analyst and researcher, Miro is an extremely useful tool to map out workflows.
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly UI and templates, that can be used.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not observed one yet, would post if I find one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me document research and map out workflows and user journeys, alongside stakeholder mapping and so on.
