Visualise the universe (or is the Miroverse?)

What do you like best about the product?
There's loads of little things about Miro that make it indispensable for my day to day work. Lately though the nifty AI features have been impressing me to end. I love that I can focus on the ideation and brainstorming part of my discovery and then click a button for Miro to help synthesise the first draft of my document, which most of the times becomes the final draft.
What do you dislike about the product?
Does tend to hog a bunch of memory and cpu when there's a lot of content on the board or when am collaborating woth my team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduces the time taken to visualise the problem area and proposed solution.

Better than a deck

What do you like best about the product?
I love organizing my thoughts on Miro and then being able to put together a quick informal presentation with visuals when I take meetings. It’s easier to make sense of the chaos and get input when you don’t have to worry about creating a slide deck. It’s just a different feel - it makes the person you’re meeting with feel more comfortable giving critique and feedback because it just feels like there is so much space. The vibe is - this project is just beginning and there’s room for you to contribute.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I feel like the sharing options are tricky within my organization. I also feel like I sometimes have a hard time controlling the text size or mix and matching copy paste text with the text I’ve written in miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me organize my thoughts better than a deck or a doc. I can put early ideas and early data insights into there and play around with the structure more.

Excellent tool for collaborative work

What do you like best about the product?
Miro excels in facilitating real-time collaboration. Its intuitive interface and extensive range of templates make it easy to brainstorm, plan, and execute projects with team members, regardless of their location.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Miro is that it can be resource-intensive, sometimes causing slower performance on less powerful devices. Additionally, while the range of features is impressive, it can be overwhelming for new users to navigate and fully utilize all the available tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Be a place where I can just dump all my research

I am a true Miro lover

What do you like best about the product?
I work with Miro everyday. My work has been improved since I have started using Miro, because I do a lot of creative work. Miro makes it possible to do a creative process with a lot of people in a structured way. I use it for every project and people often come to me for questions about Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I can think of is that if you have an account for work and you switch jobs, it is difficult to take all your work with you. I exported everything I thought would be useful, but it was too much work to take everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To collaborate with other people. It is very helpful. But also to make the whole process visually.

A UX designer's digital companion throughout the product design & development lifecycle.

What do you like best about the product?
MIRO is a game-changer of a tool that has become an intrinsic part of strategy, research, and design. It helps with digital whiteboarding in a collaborative fashion to present ideas, brainstorm, prioritize, drive consensus, and enable quick decision-making.

- Collecting all information in a single place with tools that make it easy to navigate a massive board with others.
- Able to conduct digital workshops in a collaborative fashion to ideate and drive consensus.
- Easy to prioritize important parts of the experience and opportunities with others.
- Have started using MIRO tools to generate quick and dirty ideas and wireframes.
- The ability to share specific parts of the board is an underestimated but truly beautiful feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
- It can be difficult to onboard into MIRO since it is a complex tool with various features and functionalities.
- Takes time to explore and understand how to use features.
- The music option when doing voting is more of a disturbance than a help. Too loud and distracting.
- Search has a lot of options, but lately, it takes time to provide results. Might be a performance issue.
- Pinned spaces were confusing to start with since it is based on the boards one has access to. Not using this feature now since I'm unable to pin boards owned by others due to access restrictions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro addresses several key challenges in the product design and development lifecycle, significantly enhancing productivity and collaboration:

- Miro allows you to collect and organize all relevant information in one place, making it easy to navigate and manage large boards with multiple collaborators. This centralization streamlines the workflow and ensures everyone is on the same page.
- The platform facilitates digital workshops where teams can ideate, brainstorm, and drive consensus in real-time. This collaborative environment accelerates decision-making and fosters creativity.
- Miro's tools help prioritize important aspects of the user experience and identify key opportunities. This focused approach ensures that the most critical elements are addressed efficiently.
- The ability to quickly generate ideas and wireframes using Miro's tools speeds up the prototyping phase, allowing for rapid iteration and refinement of concepts.
- Miro's feature to share specific parts of the board is invaluable. It enables targeted collaboration and feedback, ensuring that stakeholders can focus on relevant sections without being overwhelmed by the entire board.
- By providing a platform for visualizing and organizing ideas, Miro enhances the decision-making process, making it quicker and more effective.

Connecting teams and flow of projects

  • May 06, 2025
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The easiness of usage, we can edit at the same time, add comments and material and we can review old projects because everything is in one place. I love that you can check it from any device too. I use it every day of the week and it helps our team integration to support the projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The usage of battery of my laptop when I have more than 2 boards open
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The remote part of the agency. Part of my team live in other countries, so the review of projects, feedback, flow and history of projects can all be access on Miro in real time. Also when changing projects we can easily access the previous work there

great tool for collaboration and brainstorming

  • May 05, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
Easy way to collaborate with multiple teams through workshops and putting out ideas. It also makes it easy to use Miro with readily available templates based on what objective you have for your workshop/meeting, along with built-in tools like the voting and timer. I also like the Talk Track, which is helpful for asynchronous communication, whether it's to share feedback, document design rationale and decisions, or present a walk-through/voiceover on ideas. I use it almost on a daily basis, and it's an indispensable tool on my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although some of the AI tools are super helpful to have a baseline/starting point, some of the output is not helpful and it's easier to do it manually without AI. Specifically, the user flow diagrams or AI clustering/categorization of stickies have been features that I don't use. My product require a lot of domain/industry knowledge along with familiarity with certain organization objectives, and even with detailed prompts, the user flow diagrams are either too generic or make assumptions on paths that are not relevant to my needs. The sticky clustering with the AI-driven categories are hit or miss. When trying to analyze feedback from user feedback sessions, some of the comments in the stickies can be lengthy, and the categories are either redundant or too general, and again, without some of the domain/product-specific knowledge, it's hard for the AI to create optimal output and it's better for me/my team to manually categorize using our own analysis and knowledge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helpful to have a visual way to capture ideas during a meeting that everyone can view/interact with, as well as have a central place for us to do a workshop or have collaboration/brainstorming sessions.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro because its able to be used for so many different use cases. I use it to organize my own thoughts, visualizing ideas, jotting notes, collaborating, literally anything and everything. It also has a relatively flat learning curve and low barrier to entry to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of much. Every once in a while I have trouble finding things I have used in the past, but overall its awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mapping potential new product ideas to users and audiences

Visualize my brain

  • May 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the flexibility in actually using the tool. It genuinely feels like a blank whiteboard where I can just sketch and get what is in my brain out and onto paper. I love that. I also love that it has examples to review for when I need to have some inspiration. Collaboration is also very, very strong on this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Switching between accounts sucks
It would be cool if the app allowed you to actually draw on it with an Apple pencil (or other stylus - I'm not trying to be Apple-biased here)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The number one problem it is solving is allowing me to share my ideas with my team, and vice versa. The other thing it really helps with is actually clarifying my thinking. Much like writing, having to put my thoughts on this digital board helps me actually clarify and crystalize what I'm trying to communicate.
