What do you like best about the product?
how you can organize the different scanners in a single pane of glass without the dependency of cloud controller.

Tenable.io best cloud Scanner
What do you like best about the product?
That Tenable.io has every feature you need plus many more only available with Tenable.io like WAS.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cloud infrastructure is a bottleneck for some customers i guess.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Web Application Scanning is only available there

Web app scanning was a bit complicated to set up an analyse the data, but everything else is great.
Best vulnerability scanner I have ever worked with.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy of deployment and the detailed scan results are some of its best features. Ability to scan entire infrastructure just with one tool. Like Databases, network devices like routers, switches, firewalls etc. Best part, tenable can recognize multiple vendors. We also use it for audit and compliance scanning. One stop shop for us. It has everything an organization needed to perform vulnerability management at its best. Support is amazing from tenable. I really like the way they answer my questions, unlike few vendors who just forward their kb documents even after advising them that I have already reviewed the document. Escalation process is easy too, I had to do it only once in 5 years of working with tenable though :)
What do you dislike about the product?
Tenable.io doesn't have all the customizable dashboards options what we get in Tenable.SC. I feel Tenable .sc has more options and well bult when compare to Tenable.io. Recasting is quite easy in tenable.sc when compared to io. Asset grouping has way more options in tenable.sc when compared to tenable.io. Tenable.io needs lots of improvement when compared to sc but I know that the tenable team is currently working on this. Am eagerly waiting for tenable.io to have all those options what tenable.sc has. More live sessions needs to be conducted by Tenable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vulnerability management is our greatest challenge and we are able to achieve our goal and manage vulnerabilities in a proper fashion. Configuration audit and compliance issues are resolved as well as the asset visibility via discovery scans is one of the greatest benefits with tenable in our environment.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I know tenable is moving towards io but I would recommend stick to tenable.sc until io has all the features what sc has.
Tenable.io - Crushing Vulns!
What do you like best about the product?
The new interface Tenable invested in and the extensive amount of quality self-assist documentation Tenable provides to clients. In addition to various attractive features of their Tenable.io service, their Community portal and documentation is a major reason why we elected to partner with Tenable over their competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its fairly minor, but there are still features that seem to only be available via Tenable.io's classic console / interface vs. the new. It seems that Tenable is quickly closing the gap on that and it will be nice once the classic interface can be retired with all legacy features migrated to the new.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identification of web application, cloud infrastructure, an local workstation vulnerabilities. We are starting to identify, triage, and crush vulns much more efficiently than prior methods.

Give it a chance, excellent product for its intended use.
Tenable.sc great to collect all of your Vulnerability data
What do you like best about the product?
That Tenable.sc is one Application where our whole Vulnerability data comes together and the best part is you can give peopble access there and they can manage and view all their data at one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The RBAC (role based access control) is not really there. You can give people a role and group, but not more. You can't give one person more roles which makes it hard if someone should have unlimited access to only some of the Assets he should be able to view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It collects all of our Vulnerability Data at one place, before we hat our own Solution which collected the data via a script and imported it into a Database. The Tenable.sc solution does exactly this but it has many features with Dashboards and Reports.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Tenable.sc collects all of your data at one place, the only Problem is the RBAC and that it needs to be isntalled and managed manually because it is on premise. If you are looking for something like that there is nothing better than Tenable.sc

Flexibility to schedule scans, tag resources, and just get visibility into the full threat surface of my company.

Not sure that there's anything to dislike yet

Get comprehensive visibility into vulnerabilities, help address which have been patched and which haven't; drive prioritization of effort to address them.

Tenableio delivers amazing insights into the vulnerabilities which may impact your company; not many other products deliver this across so many cloud providers and on-prem solutions.

Nessus Agent capabilities and scan engine from Nessus

API limitations, Thycotic integration, credential management, new interface. The reporting capabilities are challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility into the security posture of all devices on our network.

Understand limitation of API based integrations and scaling. Define a reporting structure to use for prioritization of vulnerability results for remediation efforts.
Tenable.io is great vulnerability management platform.
What do you like best about the product?
Consistent interface and VPRS scoring system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The asset monitoring function. I really do not track assets with this tool. The constant nags about under licensed are just plan obnoxious.

Weekly vulnerability scanning and patch prioritization based upon those scans.
