Tenable Experience GOOD
What do you like best about the product?
Passive Scan feature of PVS, give further in depth scan bypassing firewalls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Free feed is very limited for Nessus scanner, should give more option and frequent update of signatures.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated Vulnerability Assessment of our customer's networks.

One of the best Security Scanners on the market
What do you like best about the product?
Tenable.sc is a great out of the box security scanner service for any enterprise. Tenable also does / has great documentation and learning material to quickly get you up to speed with how to deploy and manage the entire architecture you want to deploy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a huge fan of the UI, and is sometimes confusing to use as an admin but I believe this is more personal than functional.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using tenable.sc to monitor and gather data on systems on our network and configure a security risk scale.

Full exposure coverage, simple , and align with business needs

The asset management is not very at best, it needs more work and to be smart

Tenable sc is very good product which works as a on premise VA scanner and it is very reliable

The readily available plugins set to scan the latest vulnerabilities , and the simple ui

Nothing to dislike about tenable.sc as for me.

Audit and compliance scanning is the part where tenable.sc comes in handy more for me, accurate results, detailed reporting features allows me to present findings more effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best are the reports that can be crafted for vulnerabilities. You can put together very specific reports that clearly outline a system and the vulnerabilities that need to be remediated, so that you know exactly what to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times I wish there was an agent to help make inventory updates easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to identify systems that haven't been patched that may not have been known to be missing patches before.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely worth considering, do a POC and see if it meets your needs.

New interface does not have ability to report like old interface

Please keep reports feature on new interface the old one had it and used frequently.

What do you like best about the product?
Dashboard, at a glance you can view how your company is managing vulnerabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nessus Manager, not being easy manage remediation scans on Laptops using nessus agent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
VPR score gives you a better picture of how your assets are expos for vulnerbties and for us to priorities vulnerability remediation.

Managing vulnerabilities using tenable. SC makes your life easy and the amount of features they keep on adding is awesome. Keep on improving the product. I would recommend to any organisation.

What do you like best about the product?
Implementation was quick and smooth. Very helpful and user friendly interface. Great at identifying vulnerability in systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not too much things I can point out here. Wish the generating report could be more simpler.

Finding vulnerabilities in servers and network devices. Also, the vulnerability info was precise.

I have not found anything I don't like yet.

We replaced a competing vendor that was not filling our needs.
