Effortless to Use and Packed with Powerful Features
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Contentsquare is very easy to get up to speed on for beginners and is powerful for expert users. Its easy-to-use interface and visual tools simplify understanding user behavior, which is essential for new hires and new team members. For seasoned users, the advanced funnel and journey analysis, along with granular insights of our web pages, are very beneficial. I also appreciate the better features and better support compared to our previous tool, Crazy Egg. The initial setup was very easy, and the support team is keen to take new suggestions and continuously improve the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wished it worked better in the Firefox browser
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Contentsquare to see how visitors interact with our website. It makes it easy to identify areas that are difficult to use. The tool is beginner-friendly with an intuitive interface, yet offers advanced funnel analysis and detailed insights for expert users, enhancing our team's capabilities.
Exceptionally Visual and Intuitive for Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
how visual it is - it is very easy to understand site behavior and communicate that behavior to partner teams
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes need to manually integrate some attributes like channel data (at least at time of interest - additional features may have been built since then to support this use case)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
to answer the question of is our merchandising working? what do we need to shuffle around or change to optimize for our conversion goals?
Comprehensive Tool with Intuitive Dashboards, Room for AI Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I love the benchmark feature in Contentsquare, as it lets me see how well I'm doing against my peers. Dashboards have become really easy to set up and share with colleagues, which is super handy. The impact quantification is amazing, especially with the right integration for personalizations and A/B tests. The text seen segmentation has been super useful for quick checks this year, even when tagging isn't fully implemented. Plus, everything is generally easy to use, comparing different periods is simple, and creating segments is very intuitive. Once you understand how a module works, it's pretty straightforward to dive deeper into any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see the benchmarking feature on all my properties. I would love if we could do multiple comparisons in a dashboard (e.g., look at different time frames and different segments). At the moment, I'm not finding the AI very helpful (but I really love the session replay recaps, these are a real time saver). I'm not a fan of the zoning module now that it's gone through a lot of changes. The auto-creation of screenshots is creating more screenshots than I need and the zoning panel on the right doesn't really add much (for me at least). It was so long ago, I'm not sure I remember everything. I do remember the learning curve was a bit steep at the beginning, but once you got a hang of it, it got easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Contentsquare easier to use than GA4 for analyzing user journeys and identifying pain points. It provides fast impact quantification for A/B tests. The benchmarking, dashboards, and intuitive segmentation enhance performance insights and collaboration.

What do you like best about the product?
Contentsquare provides our team with the tools to make data-driven decisions for improving the customer experience across our website. The dashboard is intuitive and user-friendly, and the support we receive from Contentsquare is really helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! It meets all of our needs. However What would be beneficial is clearer updates when elements of the dashboard change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Contentsquare allows us to get genuine data-driven customer insights which enable us to make effective merchandising decisions.
Helps to identity issues and let's us view sessions
What do you like best about the product?
I like viewing customer sessions and setting alerts in Contentsquare. These features help us find issues and evidence of those issues that we wouldn't be able to solve elsewhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to make dashboards of alerts and sharing of alerts not very good. The UX could be better. If alerts are shared by someone else, you're left with alerts but cannot see them in your profile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Contentsquare for viewing customer issues. It solves problems by finding issues and broken links and provides evidence of issues we couldn't solve elsewhere.

What do you like best about the product?
Contentsquare is a great tool for solving my zoning analysis, journey analysis, clickrates, and session replays needs. Data insights at the page and journey level are excellent, and it's perfect for quantifying qualitative insights. I find it easy to use, and the ability to utilize it directly on a page using the browser extension is fantastic. It's quick and saves me from needing to visit the CS website directly. The courses provided do a great job at educating me on how to use the tool effectively. The initial setup was pretty simple too.

It's got a bit of a steep learning curve for newbies but it's powerful once you can use it

The UI and UX are both very straightforward and intuitive, making it easy to navigate and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are ongoing challenges with mapping and tagging, particularly when the team lacks the resources to continuously monitor and audit these processes. This makes it difficult to ensure that tagging and mapping remain accurate and up to date.

This tool simplifies the process of analyzing consumer journeys and behaviors, allowing us to make informed changes and keep optimizing our content and pages based on the data we gather.

I am using Contentsquare for long time and i like the feature of customer behavior analytics that let use know where users move, click and scroll. Contentsquare will help me to increase conversions by fixing dropoff points. it is ease to use and it reduce customer frustration in long run.

I would appreciate it if Contentsquare cached the latest URL upon logging out of a session. When I'm creating reports and the session logs me out, logging back in doesn't return me to the report I was working on. This disrupts my workflow and can be frustrating when I need to re-navigate to the specific work I was doing.
